An absolutely miserable experience. On 6/30/2026 I visited DriveMax to inquire about a used 2017 Nissan Rogue I took the car for a test drive, and there were no noticeable mechanical defects. No noticeable ones. Paid $12,499.33 on 7/3/2026. The very next day, upon starting the car, a very noticeable cloud of white smoke was seen coming from the rear of the car. This occurred upon every cold start. I called the sales person Jonathan on Friday 7/10/2026, He told me I could bring it in and they would look at it. Brought it in on Monday 7/13/206, and got into a back a forth with Roman (a sales manager) about what they would or wouldn't do. I asked him to look at it and find out what the problem was. Two days later, on 7/15/2026, I get an estimate for valve stem seals, a PCV valve, and a valve cover gasket totaling $1684.19. Supposedly (I was told) that this car was total serviced mechanically for any issues. How can they have looked at this and not known something this major? They can give my this "as is" garbage for 100 years, but if I had known it was going to cost $1684.19 to fix within a week, there's no way I would have bought it. Meanwhile, the car was in their service shop for 12 days, causing all kinds on inconvenience. So I bought a new used car for 12,499.33, drove it for a week, had it in the shop for 12 days and I was invoiced $1684.19 to fix it. These people took absolutely no responsibility for it. You buy it, tough luck. Make your own decision, but there's no way in the world I would deal with these people again.

The vehicle said no accidents and it clearly had been repainted. There are runs in the paint by the passenger mirror and the metal labels by the passenger outside mirror were missing…. Not trust worthy.
