I am currently leasing a RAV4 from T.J. Toyota. The process began when I e-mailed a price inquiry to the dealership. Shawn, a salesman, promptly responded to my request. He provided a personalized, detailed response. After discussing several options, Shawn pointed me to a lease special on the RAV4 that Toyota was running. He worked through several scenarios with me, helping me to arrive at a comfortable payment on a vehicle loaded with more features than I was even looking for initially. The buying process at T.J. Toyota differed greatly from my expectations - in a good way. I had my guard up, expecting to be put through the traditional haggling and tactics employed by most dealerships. Instead the process was extremely straightforward and transparent. There were no surprises and when it was time to sign the final paperwork all the numbers matched exactly what was discussed over the phone and e-mail. Delivery of the vehicle was top notch. It was hand washed and waxed front to back, including the tires. I was introduced to the service department and my first complimentary service visit (you get two years of service free) was scheduled. Shawn went through all the features of the vehicle with me inside and out. By the time I drove away I had a solid grasp on the navigation and audio systems with both customized to my preferences. If you are looking for a quality vehicle and customer service, I highly recommend T.J. Toyota and Shawn, the salesperson I dealt with. The perfect vehicle at a great price - what more could you ask for? I am a very picky customer and difficult to impress. This dealership exceeded all expectations and I will be enthusiastically recommending them to anyone looking for a vehicle in the future.

During the process of searching for a new vehicle, I went to T J Toyota in Potsdam. I worked with Shawn who was very knowledgeable and friendly. Customer service is absolutely not TJ Toyota's focus! I brought my Tacoma to them for recall service only to get it back with damage to it. I pointed out the damage and was told I would hear from the service manager. Two days later I needed to call and ask for the service manager only to be told I was a lyer and that it was my word against theirs and that they would do nothing to fix what they did. Ensure you take full photos of your vehicle before taking it to TJ Toyota for repairs.
