Very dissapointed with service department.

New tires were not installed correctly. All four tires developed major leaks . It was stated that it was due to aluminum wheels. They would lose over 10 pounds overnight. Took my Avalanche to a reputable tire shop and it was confirmed that the wheels were not cleaned properly which caused the leaks to occur after a period of time. I would not trust my vehicle to this dealership ever again!! avalanche

Great Experience!!

I had the most Wonderful experience with my Salesman, Tim Barnard! Tim treated me with such Respect, Kindness, and Honesty. I was so Impressed!! This was my first time visiting Jim Barnard Chevrolet. I test drove my Chevy Trax and fell in Love with it. Tim was very patient and professional while explaining everything to me. This is what Won me over as a new customer for Life! Thank You Tim! Periodic maintenance service

Efficient and complete service explained and completed per the Chevrolet recommended vehicle service schedule. A detailed and complete written checklist was provided upon completion identifying each checkpoint, recalls on my vehicle (there were none), tire tread depth, etc. A tire rotation was included free of charge because I purchased the tires from the dealership. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the waiting are a is clean and comfortable.

Conflicting info

I scheduled an oil change for my 2017 GMC truck. GMs come with two oil changes within first 24 months. I asked the person who took the appointment if it was ok that it was a GMC truck, she assured me that it was. When I arrived for the appointment, a different person told me that they cannot do it as part of the free maintence because it is not a Chevrolet. He said he would be happy to do it if I wanted to pay for it. I understand if that's their policy but very upset that I was given wrong information when I booked. Do not take your vechile here for service. If you do, call two or three different people before you go in to make sure you get accurate information.


Not at all impressive

I scheduled an appointment but the guy I was with was entertaining someone else. It happens , I understand. Then waited for 15-20 mins, he came to me and just gavethe car keys for test drive and then was in his boss room for long time. I came back and he was not there. I waited for 20 mins, he came and asked how was it. Then told me he has something else going on. It didn't feel right to be in the dealership , so i just left . the agent must be having a bad day or whatever but i didnt feel welcome.

I am very impressed with Barnard's service department - All of the technicians know what they are doing and do a great job.


Oil Change

I always take my cars to be serviced here. They only recommend what I need to have done. They are all very friendly. They will go out of their way to make sure whatever I need done is taken care of. These guys are awesome.


2015 Chevrolet impala 2lt

The team at Jim Barnard Chevrolet did an excellent job with the 2015 brass hat that I purchased on April 9th. The deal had a rough start but they stepped up to the plate for me to come back and made good on all of the concerns that I had.Furthermore Mark and Pat from the sales department did above and beyond to make this purchase happen.I am so happy with my purchase from them and would buy again,even though I live very far away.
