0 stars if I could. I sent Amy Troutman referrals and never received the $400 owed to me. It has been over a month and nothing. I called the dealership and the Sales Manager brushed me off, saying it was “a personal matter” between me and Amy. Wrong. It is the dealership’s referral program which means it is supposed to come from them, not an individual salesperson. Instead of handling it, he got smart with me and claimed he was “too busy.” Too busy to deal with a customer being cheated? That says it all. If they cannot even honor their own referral program, how can you trust them with something as big as buying a car? Do not go to Frederick Chevrolet unless you want to get played. So then the owner responds to me after sending them a message and says “ So the owner replied and said “Hello, There are no referral programs at Frederick Chevrolet nor is there any payment programs posted at the dealership or on the website. If there was an agreement for referrals between you and a sales person that is between those parties and no affiliation with the dealership.” I did three referrals for Amy Troutman back in June and received a $600 check from the dealership itself. The referral money was never supposed to come from the salesperson. Now the owner claims there are no referral programs and no payments posted anywhere. That is blatantly false. They are trying to gaslight and dodge paying what they owe. The manager and owner both showed they do not honor commitments and will lie to avoid accountability. Do not waste your time or money here!

Treat you as if there doing you the favor would not work out a deal to help me with my budget only saying they have the cheapest price around was buying car cash. So I took my money to another dealer and spent 5 thousand more and bought a 2026 there finance manager was rude and would not come even close to help me make the deal and I was only asking for maybe five to $1000 off the manager sounding like he was 17 so no I do not recommend this dealership unless maybe going in person would help but online buying I wouldn’t even give it one star

I had been looking for a pre-owned car online for some time. Found a car at Frederick I was interested in getting more information about a possible purchase. Cody was very helpful when I arrived at the dealership. Cody was very helpful getting the information that I needed to make the decision. I really appreciated the straightforward process. I was able to purchase and drive the vehicle home the same evening.

Not recommended
I had my truck serviced at Frederick recently. They put a 3 inch long vertical gash on the outside of my passenger side mirror. I tried to wet sand it out but the scratch is fairly deep. Still looks pretty bad. No notification from the company, they just gave it back to me as if nothing had happened.

this is the first time in all the years I have my vehicle that when I got my oil change I did not have to add oil. Everytime before this I had to add oil a day or two later. Who ever did the oil change was great. Thanks
