Write a reviewWorst auto purchase in 40 years. I bought a 2026 Honda CRV Touring from this group 6/30/25. I was sold a Portfolio extended warranty for almost $4000.00. After realizing how overcharged I was, I went in the next day to cancel the warranty. That was 9+ weeks ago, the GM, Finance Manager and salesperson are at a loss of why I haven’t been credited the $4000.00. I was told it can take up to 6 weeks. I’m being held hostage by WILLIAMS AUTO GROUP, I don’t want to refinance until this amount is refunded to my loan. I have bought several vehicles from this group, NEVER been treated so poorly. For the record I bought a Toyota from a group in Ithaca NY in 2024, it cost $15,000 more than this CRV and I paid $2500 for the EXACT SAME COVERAGE. Also, my windshield got a HUGE crack in it with less than 500 miles (the car had about 160 miles on it when I signed the papers.). I thought it was a manufacturers defect since I didn’t hear anything hit the windshield. I was told by Williams Service it was my problem, they didn’t do windshields. I took it about 40 miles away to have the windshield replaced and had to go back to Williams to have it reprogrammed. When I questioned the service manager about the crack being a manufacturers defect she told me to call the company that replaced it and see if I could find the replaced windshield so they (Williams Honda) could inspect it and that I should have brought the car back to Williams to be fixed. She was upset until she found out my insurance covered the cost. Williams Honda doesn’t make HONDA look very good. I feel like I was bullied and swindled by crooks at this dealership.

Not a good place to buy!! Spent a full day dealing with this dealership. The general manager (Frank Kahn) doing the appraisals falls short in this category. He would not even match their sister dealership. He was $1600 under Williams Toyota, Matthew’s and surprisingly Simmons Rockwell right up the road. Mr Kahn claimed they can see what other dealerships offer in their system, as I showed him in writing, the offers. He claims he uses JD power and the going auction site (using Mannheim NJ). When I watched him evaluate my car he did so using the lowest ratings possible giving a less than fair price. I was told “this is a business” several times!! When I got on the same site to appraise, I came up with what the other dealerships were offering. I had full knowledge what I should expect for my trade as I have been shopping around. I was told the same person does the appraisals for the KIA building next door. Don’t think you’ll get any better on your trade there either!!! The manager at the KIA building did offer to help but I still was not getting my vehicles worth. The appraiser tried to say the tax credit you get for trading is part of your trade price. No, you get this credit no matter what for any trade any dealership! You are only allowed to test drive around their parking lot. This I find strange as I seen a female sales person with a plate in her hand. The salesmen I was working with (Curtis) willingly came in on his day off to finalize a deal with me. I thank him for that, but I was filled with false hope and a wasted day on my part too!! You did try to help and I genuinely think you felt bad you couldn’t do anything for me. Hopefully Williams Honda and Frank Kahn don’t underprice your worth. I understand “this is a business” but you lost a sale over $1600 bucks which ain’t crap to a dealership with several buildings and brands. Do your homework, know your worth as you won’t get this at Williams Honda or Kia.

I was very unhappy with my salesman. Had to go to sayre to have registration transfered and iPad inspection. Bought in New York. He never sent paperwork or scheduled appointment. HE FORGOT. HE IS GETTING MARRRIED. That was more important. Forty minutes to get there and now I have to go back.

Kirk Baker was very nice and easy to work with while buying our Honda Odyssey. He made it possible to buy and receive our van in the same day.

If you want continued service from a dealership don't go here!! Service was excellent when we were looking at a vehicle. The guy was not too pushy. After we purchased a vehicle we realized they didn't supply us with a spare key or an owners manual. I'm still waiting for someone to call me back and help me out. The sales manager told me they would call us when they were ordered and ready. Never heard back. Its been 5 months since we got our vehicle and I have called every other week. Each person I talk to tells me they will take my name and number and call me back with details.

When something happens to your car and you take it to a shop, you are at their mercy unless you are an expert yourself. I can't go into details as it would be much too long but our van broke down on our way from VA to Roch, NY and we had to have it towed to the nearest Honda service which was this one. Ed Ropp was an absolute dear, kind, compassionate, friendly and made us feel like friends. Our ordeal went from bad to worse and we were stuck in Elmira, 2 hours from home with many other complicated factors. Ed did what he could to help our situation. Then we received a call from Anne Maloney, the manager who said they found our situation incredibly odd and unusual and reviewing the video of the repair of our van felt it was possible, not certain but possible, that the more serious issue that ensued from the original issue, may have been caused in their garage. It was indeed a very serious and expensive issue - but they felt the right thing to do was to repair it at their expense. We were shocked. Even if they DID cause the bigger issue, they did not have to divulge it to us. We found this astonishing and quite frankly, miraculous. I don't know where else you find integrity like this. The only reason I don't give 5 starts for quality of repairs is because of the uncertainty if their technician did indeed have something to do with the secondary problem with our engine. We were blessed to have broken down next to their shop and not another. Thank you to Anne and Ed for really showing what true customer service is about.
