Worst purchase from Century West BMW

I have had nothing but issues since purchasing a CPO BMW X5 in July 2019. I've had the vehicle in the repair shop for 1 week in August. Finally, the part that had the issue was replaced. Here we are in September 2019, the vehicle has been in the repair shop for 2 weeks for THE SAME ISSUE. How was this vehicle approved to sell as CERTIFIED PRE OWNED vehicle. LIES AND DECEPTION from this dealership. Wasted my money on this piece of trash vehicle.

Always a positive experience dealing with Steve (Smithson)

Scammers

SCAMMERS! Horrible experience! -1* honestly... Terrible customer service, plus we were completely lied to and tricked into buying. They don’t even return phone calls when there’s an issue. I purchased a 2018 BMW x4 and was told it was a BMW managers vehicle, that it hadn’t been in any accidents. I had to sign a disclaimer that there was paint repair and we were assured multiple times that it was only the standard minor scratches repaired like they do to all their cars. Plus i received a clean CarFax. Well right after getting it home a piece around the windshield was falling off, so we called several times over the last 2 month span without getting any reply so we took the x4 to the local dealership to have it fixed, because we didn’t know what else to do. They had to order the part cause they thought it was warped, turns out it wasn’t. The car has been in a major accident, the fenders were replaced/repaired along with the windshield and nothing is lined up properly so that’s the issue with the trim around the window. The local dealership double checked the car and said, they didn’t even repair it properly. They told us to contact the dealership where it was purchased right away so we tried again without any response. We called several times yesterday starting right at opening and were promised a call back within a hour, well that didn’t happen nor did we even get a return call back by the end of the day. I don’t know how these thieves can sleep at night ripping off a single, pregnant 22 year old that’s trying to be in the safest car she can afford and saved for. Looks like we will have to contact an attorney unless they make it right sooner rather then later. Just so readers know we aren’t new to BMW or the standard of their typical customers service that we are now accustome to. We are a BMW family and own another x4 m40i, z4 and a 430i convertible. We also use to have a z3, 540, 340i and a 335i in the past. This is just our first time buying at at this dealership and definitely our LAST. Our experience at BMW Irvine with Jason was way better and we will not stray from there again. It was the biggest mistake we’ve made! Absolutely discussed... Sal and Zach this is absolutely the worst customer service we have ever experienced from a BMW dealership. I will update this post if anything changes !

My 11th BMW from Century West.

I’m very satisfied with Century West BMW service. I think you have one of the best car salesman in Los Angeles (Shahin Sabzehroo). This is my BMW #11, plus my family members and friends.

New tires

Steve Smithson at Century West BMW is the best!!! He always takes good care of me. Although it’s never pleasant to have unexpected repairs, Steve makes it as pleasant as possible.

Worst BMW Dealer

I would put negative ratings if it were possible. My relative and I went to Century West BMW in North Hollywood to meet with a gentleman named Tim who had telephonically offered us a deal we were willing to take. We arrived at the dealer and the car looked great, but there were a few things we wanted to discuss. One of them being BMW lease end protection and maintenance/warranty on a demo lease. Not only did we come to realize we had been completely lied to, but Tim had entirely misrepresented the vehicle we almost leased. He informed us that the car had brand new tires, which the floor manager later informed us was not true. He also told us maintenance covered all services for the next 3 years of the lease, which was also false. When I told Tim all oil changes weren’t included, he told me to go to pep boys and get an oil change for 80 bucks. I also asked him to lower the cost on the lease end protection by $5 to which he told me $5 was the cost of a latte and I shouldn’t be asking for the discount. On top of all of this, he had informed us that Apple Car Play was included on the car, but of course the manager told us it was a subscription-based program and will cost us maybe about $80 annually going forward. We also talked to the finance manager (whom enlightened us as to a few of these issues) at which point Tim barged into the room and started yelling that the car we want has been sold so we can leave now. Essentially KICKING US OUT of the dealership. We were completely taken back by this behavior and frazzled as we walked downstairs to leave the dealer. Before we left I asked Tim if the car had been sold, and he said I should go ask the customers. Again, completely inappropriate and distasteful behavior. When I told Tim it wasn’t going to work out he told my relative that she should stick to the Hyundai that she has and that’s more fitting for her. This statement caused me to request to speak to the manager as we had reached a point of complete disturbance. The lack of professionalism and harassment that we received at this dealership was absolutely astonishing and nothing like I’ve ever experienced before. I have had over 3 BMWs before and worked with numerous dealerships before without EVER having to experience this kind of conduct. I will never go back to this dealer and I will make sure no one I know does business here as we received the most disgusting behavior from a person whose sole job is to provide service to customers.
