Great experience

Our salesman Iggi made my first time car buying experience a breeze. It's been a long almost 2 months looking for the perfect car and we were able to find it here at Hyundai in Paramus. Couldn't have found a better place to do business with. I would definitely recommend friends and family to find their next car here and assure that they will have a great car buying experience as I did. bad credit

first of all.i filled out credit application online and got in touch with this dealership in morning next day.first i spoke to someone and they said they will be in touch shortly.later i got in touch with woman name shalonda.she said i should stop by there and i am ready to go.i asked her 3 times how much down payment i will need because i had bad credit.she said bring whatever i can but upon talking she said i will be okay with 500 down for used car priced at 7999.99 sometimes things happen in life which are not aspected.i had ups & down and had some serious problems in past where i had no choice to survive so i made some choices.its been 4 years since i have not borrowed money from anyone and tried to keep things straight.upon arriving at dealership i was asked for pay stubs and licence which is normal.even when i went there.guy name "eric" so called finance manager or person told me all i need is 500 dollars to put down and i am good to go.he told me "things going to take some time since i have bad credit but we will work out something for you".later he came back after 15-20 minutes and said "you guys are ruining this country.this is beautifull place and people like me are making things hard for everyone by not paying bills on time.he said "if i go to your country and do such a thing, how would you feel?.he told me that i should respect what this country has given me and pay my bills on time"since i was actually in need of wheels.i kept my mouth shut and listened to him what he had to said.it was vary humiliating, but i did not let it out.he did used cursh words while i was there with me which was not professional at all.later he said he will be back and he didnt show up even after i left dealership.lady came after 1 hour and said i will need 3500 down.i left the place and called for manager later.manager told me that he was right next to eric all time when i was there and he dont remember him saying any of this things to me at all while there was no one around when me and "eric" were talking.i spoke to one of my credit advisor right after i got out and he suggested to get attorny and file civil complaint.i just cant wait to tech this liars lesson.fyi - i am american citizen.i respect this country and constitution.

Good experience, no pressure

We were lucky enough to be set up with Ed Santiago as our salesman. He was knowledgable, friendly, and most importantly not aggressive in his sales. It's important to me for a sales person to listen to our needs, since it's likely that I've already done my research and understand everything that the car has to offer, as well as a price point that I expect to meet. Ed was flexible and patient enough to work through the usual negotiation process, while remaining professional and friendly. He was up-front and as honest as you can expect a car sales person to be :) Overall, I would recommend Paramus Hyundai and specifically Ed Santiago as a sales person to work with — if you're like me and don't want to be oversold or feel like you're playing a mind game.
