Public Statement My Experience with Silver Star

Public Statement Concerning My Experience with Silver Star MotorsInc. Before choosing to do business with Silve Star cars , I deeply regret not having perused their reviews on Cars.com more thoroughly, instead of being influenced by seemingly inflated Google reviews. It has come to my attention that some of these positive reviews may have been influenced by offers of free services. Approximately 9 months ago, we purchased a 20** [Car Model] from George and Ray, representatives of the aforementioned dealership. We were assured that we were buying a Pre-owned certified Mercedes. Surprisingly, our purchase price was almost on par with what an authorized MBUSA Dealer quoted for a similar car with fewer miles. However, our trust was shattered when, just six months into our ownership, our car began exhibiting issues with the suspension and leveling system. Ray's response insinuated that we had declined a warranty, which was patently untrue. We had indeed purchased one, only to later discover it was never activated. This discrepancy became evident when our paperwork indicated we paid an excess of $*800.00 – $3800 of which was meant for the 4-year warranty. In a subsequent interaction, Ray agreed to fix the car's issues for $2300.00. Given our mounting concerns, we decided to consult with MB OF DALLAS. A mere broken wire was diagnosed as the problem and fixed for just $302.00. Further investigations unveiled that the car, contrary to our belief, had significant frame damage, a fact missed by Carfax, and underwent repairs worth $36,765.00 in the past. A deeper dive into the background of Ray Moghimi, the owner, brought forth unsettling details about lawsuits and questionable affiliations with entities like Park Place Motor cars and IMPORT AUTO LEASE, which reportedly sold non-lease cars under deceptive premises. The history of both Reza Moghimi and Gharan Bavand appears mired in allegations of unethical business practices, with one notable incident involving Reza Moghimi's federal arrest. Armed with over two decades of experience investigating white-collar crimes and a personal determination amplified by my recent victory over cancer, I am committed to bringing clarity to such potentially malicious business practices and ensuring consumers are protected. We've since sold the car at a loss of $8,300 and replaced it with a genuinely trustworthy model. However, based on auction documents, the dealer made a staggering profit of $14,329.00 on our initial purchase. I pen down this statement as a word of caution to potential customers and to advocate for the importance of rigorous background checks before any substantial investment. Enjoy Your Temporary Freedom

My wife took her E350 MB into MB of Plano for an A

My wife took her E350 MB into MB of Plano for an A service (51,091 miles) last week. They informed her that the following needed to be repaired/replaced: 1) Oil Leak from the front Covers on Engine ($1,321.69), 2) Battery Failed Loan Test/Replace Battery ($456.85) and Replace Wipers ($93,75). Something didn't seem right so she took her car to Ray & George at Silverstar (where we should have gone to begin with). After a complete diagnostic test, NONE of those issues were present. The oil lead was because when they did the A service, they did not tighten the oil filter, the battery tested great and the wipers didn't need to be replaced. We've known Ray & George for 15 years and we will never make the mistake of going back to Mercedes Benz of Plano.

Bad Cars. Bad Business. Avoid or you’ll regret.

May 31, 2022 I was real excited to go on cars.com and find a GL 450 Mercedes Benz I was looking for with rear entertainment -panoramic roof, black color and 360° camera and under 100,000 miles which led me to Silver Star Motorcars in Plano. Kevin and George are very great salesman they are kind and patient and very resourceful. The owner Ray is rude, disrespectful and frankly does bad business - selling cars that has problems. He doesn’t care about the customer or providing a exceptional customer service experience. The car that I bought from them- the battery went bad within a week $570 to repair, second week having the car the alternator went down that was the $1200 I paid them, fourth week I had the car I went back to the shop twice because the car wouldn’t start when I was out grocery shopping in 105 degree summer weather. I have a 3 year and 6 year old and didn’t feel safe driving this car any longer. They gave me a loaner car for 5 days to try to get my car and find the problem “ only had this car for 5 weeks at this point but I see more money to spend on this car on repairs in their shop once again. After putting $5500 down I was nearly $8000 in after 5 weeks. After not finding the problem of why the ignition wont communicate with the transmission to start the car it eventually started four days later on its own. Upon leaving the dealership the car went to safe mode and It wouldn’t go past 10 miles per hour so I went and took it back to the shop again this time I was pissed and my patience is out the window. Ray the owner - wanted me to spend more money giving to him to keep fixing - he sold me a bad car and I tried to work something out with them to sell the car back to them, he refused and lowballed me on the amount so I can just go away. I told Ray I really don’t want to write a bad review because their salesmen George and Kevin are great but I have to be honest to everybody else about my experience. He (Ray the Owner) said I don’t care who you tell -you can tell God- I don’t care then he ran back in Service Dept Shop to avoid me and any further communication like the “ little man coward- he is”. I would not buy another car from this car company. I hesitated because there’s good and bad reviews on Google but this is a recent review as of July 2022 that Silverstar Motorcars has great salesman but the owner does bad business and he sells bad cars. If you go in the parking lot back by the service department - there are old broken down -used bad cars that they’re fixing up and selling to the public. I do not recommend anybody getting a car from this car company -you may just have problems on the road with your family and if you have small kids this is no bueno. You don’t have to go buy a Mercedes at the main dealership but you can go to a reputable franchise dealer that doesn’t sell bad cars and they’ve actually do 150 point inspection Before selling to you. Good luck and God Bless.

Shady and liars

Three weeks ago I traded in a car, which is currently for sale (he does not have the title) and bought a truck. He has not finished the transaction by paying off what I traded in and receiving the title. The car is still is my name and I am expected to pay on the note, as well as now the new vehicle I traded for. He said he’d check into it, and never returned my emails or calls. My next call is police to file a stolen vehicle report I guess, since he’s trying to sell a vehicle that is legally still in my name,

Don't do it!

Me and my husband took our cars there for years. In the last 3 or so years, something changed. Service was horrible, they would say they fixed it and you would drive off and it wouldn't be fixed. Most recently I took my car to the dealership and two of the major issues Silver Star claimed to repair, were not done correctly so now I'm out dealership prices because they didn't fix it properly. We supported these guys for years, but no more. Just don't - you will regret it.

Silver Star Motorcars show a thoroughness seen rarely seen

This independent took initiatives rarely seen. The work was excellent. This is a big relief. I highly recommend them. George and Ray were nice to work with in addition. I am pleased to pass this endorsement on.

Worst customer service experience ever!

Met with some sales guy named Kevin. Showed very unwelcoming snd absolutely un interested gestures. Car i’d liked was kept in a a really bad condition. Full of dust and bird poop. Asked some questions about the car history but gave some random unconvincing answers. Gave an offer but his continous arrogant behaviour didnt allow me to go any further. Pls dont waste your precious time going here. Worst customer service experience.

Thanks for being Great!!

Just bought an Infiniti through Silverstar. Last car I bought there was a Mercedes E350 and its 200,000 miles perfect even now. There were a couple warrant issues since the car has 8000 miles on it. Crest gave me a hard time about some minor warranty issues so my guys at Silverstar Motors are working to fix the issues for me. My wife and I both would recommend them 100%
