I can’t speak for the dealership as a whole, but the

I can’t speak for the dealership as a whole, but the service lane is awful. Scheduled our Volvo for 50k mile service in advance, requesting a rental in the interim that can accommodate car seats. Drop off day, they forgot about the rental - waited 2 hours for their Enterprise partner to show up. Volvo had told Enterprise rep we were a “walk-in” and needed a car same day… not true… it took them a while to get a car that could fit car seats. Inspection report comes back… it’s pretty egregiously pricey, but whatever that’s not all that surprising for a Volvo. $900 for a battery replacement ($260 battery) is, however, overly excessive. Report said our battery had 60% left, and it had shown no issue even in the low temps we’ve had, so I politely declined a replacement. Rest of the work was done pretty quick to their credit. Pick up the car 2 days after drop off, turn it on… immediate red warning indicator comes on that the battery is failing and to “stop safely.” I go back inside, “hey, this warning light came on when I started it can someone come check?” Rather than checking, the delightful lady at the service lane comes out with my receipt (over 3k of work, mind you)… “Well? You declined the battery replacement!” Ma’am, my battery was not dead when I brought it in 2 days ago. She couldn’t have been any more rude. I bought the battery on my way home for $260 and replaced it myself in less than an hour. If this place is hiring for $600/hr, count me in… as long as that lady isn’t there anymore. Thanks for the other service, we won’t be back. 👍

James was incredibly helpful.

James was incredibly helpful.He very clearly explained the services that were being delivered and kept me posted on the status...the work was completed about 30 mins before the estimated time he provided...which was a pleasant surprise.

So I honestly hate to give this review for James Lopes.

So I honestly hate to give this review for James Lopes. While this is only my second time going to this dealer for service. I've done about 90% of my repairs at Volvo service centers. This is the first time I've ever had to wait a week for a part from a dealer. I do not blame the service center for this however I did not receive any follow-up or text messages during this week wait. I called twice and never had my call returned by James. Once the part was out for delivery I was given about an hour notice to rush over if I wanted that day or wait until Tuesday. (This occurred on a Friday) The only reason I knew the part was done is because I called to check. When I went to pay I had questions about the charges. I paid a portion of it before and had the remaining balance. I wanted to understand everything and apparently this upset James having to re e Re-explain things to me that he said he explained last week. I had not experienced this with James before or at any other Volvo. I was quite shocked about his attitude. He continuously told me how he was helping me out and how he already explained all of this before. I have had many customer service jobs and have had to explain things to people several times. They do not work there and this is not their daily profession so sometimes it takes multiple times to understand. He then became just nasty saying okay are you ready to pay? By card or cash? And then pointing at the card reader while I was still looking over the charges. This was around 5:30 so I understand that he may have wanted to leave but there was a better way to have handled the situation. I eventually had to be checked out by the manager on duty because James completely shut down. There was really no need for this to end this way.

Both BERNARDI Volvo and Stephen were so easy to deal

Both BERNARDI Volvo and Stephen were so easy to deal with. Stephen was personable, helpful and professional. He went out of his way to retrieve several personal items that I’d left in my car during service. He listened well to my concerns about my car and these, in addition to my routine check, were handled professionally and satisfactorily. He set up a rental car for me and followed up on how that went for me. I left a very happy customer. Thank you.

James was excellent.

James was excellent. He was well informed,listened carefully to my situation and promptly addressed my needs. The dealership is always well-maintained, great for working remotely while waiting for service completion. Cleaning the car , especially during the winter months is a bonus as well.
