Best experience buying a car

These guys deserve ten stars. Compare to my previous experience buying a car this has been the best without a doubt. I took my time to do research about the vehicle I wanted to buy. It didn't take me that long to realize that all dealerships follow the same kind of prompt. They all first want to know if you're financing or leasing, how much money are you putting down and so on and so forth. So I walked into Quirk expecting the same kind of treatment. Wrong! I was assisted by Matt and right off the bat I knew these guys do business in a completely different way. They first want to connect with their clients before talking about money. It shocked me because you won't see that anywhere else. They never pressure me on buying right away nor gave me the speech of "there're multiple people interested in this car, if you don't get it now you'll be missing on a great deal" kind of talk. Xavier the sales manager took the time to walk me through the buying process, and I have to say I feel I got a bargain like no other. Even until today I can't believe they sold me the car for that much less. The entire process took me over a month and a half to complete because my bank kept giving me a hard time. Thankful Ken the fiance manager was able to find me a better financial institution with better rate and less hassle. I really mean it when I say these guys are amazing. They were super patient with me while dealing with my bank (like I said over a month and a half) and they never turned me away nor treated me differently. They were always willing to help me find the best deal but most importantly the best car. This guys not only earned my business but my loyalty too. Thank you.


Great service

Quirk Chevrolet is the best dealership around. I bought my car from them a year ago and go there for all my service needs. The salesman remembers me and always makes sure to say hi and jeff the service manager and his team never try to sell me things I dont need like other dealerships I have had in the past. I'm always happy when I leave there never had a bad experience. Friendly and top dealership. Can't thank you them enough for making my experience with dealshipship easy


Great Experience

I just this past weekend bought a new GTI from Quirk with Yuri as my salesperson. From the moment I stepped out of my trade to the moment I picked up the new car I was treated fantastically. The car had been featured on their website and the discount off MSRP was fair and right in line with what I had researched online. The sales managers I dealt with were friendly and the process was actually quite smooth: no typical hassle, no trade keys held by manager, no pressure, no endless negotiation. Just fair overall! The car, quite cool!! It was delivered clean and free from the little defect I saw during the test drive. The GTI is an amazing car and great value, most VWs have a feeling that they should cost much more. During my purchase I also got some stuff from the Parts Dept to round off the new vehicle and had a nice experience there too. Highly recommend Quirk VW


want the lowest price, can't pay cash if so

Bought car over 1.5 weeks ago, wanted to pay cash, wouldn't allow me because of price and having to get their money back from VW. Still waiting for the account to post on my VCI account while it is compounding interest. I have had 25 Audi/VW cars in 10 years, normally it would post to my account w/in 3 business days.


Dishonest management

Received a letter from Quirk VV today. It stated they did a credit check. Why? We paid cash. We remember they had my wife fill out a paper,but they said it was so they knew it was her. We Wii never buy or have our car serviced at Quirk VS.


Great place to get a new car!

I had a very pleasant experience at Quirk VW in Braintree. My sales person, James was very patient with me and Xavier made sure I left there happy with my new Atlas! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks Quirk!


Great service, knowledgeable and honest

Last month, I purchased a VW CC from a dealer who failed to check the oil pressure although I mentioned it before purchasing. The oil pressure light would come on here and there. They assured me it would be taken care of. A few weeks later, the check engine light came on due to low oil and caused the car to shutdown multiple times. I ended up taking it to Quirk VW who discovered a faulty drain plug. They were very thorough throughout the process and kept me updated. They replaced the drain plug free of charge and also found recalls that they took care of free of charge again. I am happy I went to Quirk versus the original dealer. I would have never known about the issue or recalls if it weren't for Quirk VW!


Poor service department

Recently brought car back in for service after having to come in repeatedly for gas cap and check engine light. apparently they think its ok to replace the purge valve every 40k miles and charge an exorbitant amount each time.


Completely Incompetent

Even requesting a simple vehicle history report from this dealership requires you to jump through hoops. It took 5 emails to get a pdf of the report sent to me. Even then they didn't send the whole report. What is usually an easily accessible link for other dealerships on the listing's page, required an hour of communication with this dealership. The also initially ignored their advertised price on cars.com and "sent me a deal" for $500 more even after I sent them the link to the advertised price from them on cars.com.


Got my Dream Car here.

After loads of research here and on other car sites, I found the perfect car for me and drove all the way down to Braintree to get it! The price was outstanding, and I emailed Mr. Dion there about all the details of an out of state sale. Things went from an overwhelming process to doable with their support. Once I got there, salesperson Jason was really friendly and concerned about doing a good job. Then the full theatre of car dealer negotiation began. This part felt pretty pushy and my wife was not amused by it. we had to go through the trouble of getting up to go twice before they allowed our bottom line on the trade in. In the end I got a great car and a story to tell, but I would warn you about the pushiness closing out the thing. I went to my credit union for a loan, so I didn't have to deal with them on financing. The whole thing with test drive took over 4 hours, but again I was happy in the end. good Luck!
