Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure working with them. Very knowledgeable. I didn't feel a lot of pressure to buy a car.

Just an OK experience.........

Leaving on an extended road trip this weekend and wanted the car totally checked over. Ended up needed a 4-wheel alignment for $89.95 which was ok. When I got home I sat down at my computer to check emails. Ironically, there was an email from your internet sales guy advertising a 4-wheel alignment for $79.95, which was rather irritating since I had just left your place. I returned the next day to ask Debbie about this and she seemed somewhat surprised but did process a refund for me. It's really funny since I was still in the waiting room at the very time this email was sent to me at home. Wouldn't you think that your service advisors should be made aware of impending service specials that avoid an irritating occurence such as this? The email said to "present the coupon" to get the special price. Personally, I think it's a little sleazy that a potential customer would lose out on the special even when the service advisor is aware of it. Just sayin. Another slightly negative note......your popcorn machine was empty, your coffee pots were empty and several varieties of soda pop were out. Just a little irritating since I was a prisoner in that waiting room for almost two hours. Can I just mention another observation? First, I was thrilled that I was immediately greeted by Debbie with no waiting. She and I were inside the car for several minutes while she programmed my new cell phone to the blue tooth program, which was much appreciated. By the time we went back inside, more cars had arrived and their owners were crowding into the service advisor room. From then on it was very hectic. Debbie was answering phone calls, talking to a mechanic who came to ask her questions, running back and forth to the copy machine, all of which while I was standing at her desk biding my time. She told one phone caller that they were short handed (why?) and seemed to speak bluntly and abruptly with other phone callers. She was doing an awesome and thankless job and was put in the position of wearing several hats at the same time. I worked as an office manager for retail dealerships for 42 years in Calif, Oregon and Idaho and know that service advisors are under a lot of stress. She was doing an excellent job and should be commended. Sorry to be so long, but as a retired dealership employee I notice a lot of positive and negative situations when I visit a dealer. Thanks for allowing me the space to voice my observations.

Service great, old car frustrating.

The service is always excellent but my 2007 Suburban isn't holding up. In the past twelve months I have replaced everything in the car.

Repair of small paint chip on passenger side mirror.

The repair work was set up by John Wright, the person who had ordered my 2014 Corvette Stingray for me. I worked through Francis in the Service Department. The repair work was completed in the exact amount of time promised. The repaired chip is unnoticeable and looks exactly like brand new. The car was washed and detailed and remained parked inside throughout its stay at the dealership. Thank you for your attention to detail and the great care you took of my "baby".

Fantastic!

Todd was friendly and on the ball. I spoke with him on the phone prior to coming in. When we arrived he had exactly what we were looking for ready to take for a test drive. We were limited on time and he got us through everything in a timely manner. I will recommend Peterson to all my friends and family, when they are in the market for a car and I will send them Todd's way. Thank you Todd.

Great Sales personnel

I recently purchased a truck with the help of Jonathan McConaughey (Big Jon) in Boise, and highly recommend him as a resource if you are in the market for purchasing a vehicle. He provides great service (he is also a lot of fun), no pressure and quite straightforward. Two other young men (Justin & ??) assisted us as well, driving us around in the golf cart and really helped make the purchase a fun experience. The fiance department was able to get us a very good rate, the only negative part of the experience was the extended warranty conversation while securing the loan. I think Peterson should review the method that is being used for selling this product. It was quite uncomfortable and high pressure and gives the buyer second thoughts about purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

Lengthy Routine Oil Change

Wife and young children stuck in the waiting room for an hour and a half. This dealership location needs to consider offering a quick lube facility like their Stampede Dodge location. A standard oil change and general checkup should be a maximum of 30 minutes.

very high markup on parts and and hign markup on labor hours

This relatively simple repair was to expensive to repeat. I plan to share this with as many others as possible so others can prevent this cost
