Acura ZDX

Acura has revised the 2024 ZDX’s effective price by announcing that it will qualify for the maximum federal EV tax credit of $7,500.

As usual with new EVs, some have rolled out for 2024 with limited initial availability or as fully loaded “first editions” with more affordable versions to come.

Closely related to the Honda Prologue, the ZDX was co-developed with GM, meaning it also shares a lot with the Chevrolet Blazer EV.

The 2024 ZDX and Honda Prologue share their basic architecture and Ultium battery technology with the Chevrolet Blazer EV, but all three vehicles get their own exterior styling and interior layouts.

The HondaLink and Acura EV smartphone apps will be updated to include charging stations for both the EVgo and Electrify America nationwide networks of charging stations.

Honda and its Acura luxury brand aren’t selling electric vehicles in the U.S. currently, but already the brands have signed a deal that will give buyers access to Tesla’s Supercharger network.

The 2024 Acura ZDX is an SUV that, despite its namesake, looks very traditional and was developed as part of a joint effort between Honda — Acura’s parent company — and GM.

Acura is bringing back an old name and giving it a modern twist: The 2024 ZDX will return to the lineup as the brand’s first all-electric SUV.

The forthcoming Acura ZDX EV is the brand’s first offering to integrate Google Built-In infotainment system, which bundles several Google products and adapts them for easier in-car use.

Acura announced that its first all-electric vehicle would be a “performance SUV” named the ZDX, coming in 2024.
