Chevrolet is rounding off the Silverado HD’s updates for 2025 with additional standard equipment on many of the six trim levels, new optional features on others and a Trail Boss package.

Some 410,000 model-year 2015-16 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks are being recalled for an issue with the roof rail airbag.

More than 331,000 Chevrolet and GMC heavy-duty pickup trucks are being recalled for a fire risk thanks to an optional engine block heater cord that could cause a short circuit.

GM is recalling approximately 624,200 Chevrolet and GMC vehicles for an issue with a front-seat seat belt bracket.
