2019 Chevrolet Equinox consumer reviews

I came out of a Chevy Impala and traded into a 2019 equinox 1.5 turbo. The interior is well laid out however it is are very basic, equal to a Chevy Cruze. Panels do not have a wood grain and are just plastic. The gas mileage improvement I was hoping for has not happen. My 6 cyndier Impala got the same milage as the Equinox. The 1.5 turbo is underpowered for vechical of this size and is more suited to the Cruze. Handling is good however the all wheel drive tends to push more than pull. This makes turning somewhat tricky in snow. The exterior lighting is great for night driving and does not seem to blind drivers coming the other way. There is no spare tire or rim. Chevy gives you a can of fix a flat and a small cheap compressor, if you blow out a tire hope you have good shoes cause your walking. Overall it's an okay car but I feel the price is high compared to what you should have. But all vechical manufacturers make much higher profits on SUV's then they did on cars. Now I understand why.

Had it as a rental in Hawaii; served us very well over a 5 day span. Ended up stuck in the middle of the island without gas and was able to coast 40+ miles with this bad boy on empty to the nearest gas station.

The car has great gas mileage and looks great. The interior is cloth and could use some better design. Overall beautiful car and great ride.

The car does meet all of my needs. it is comfortable, good looking and gets great gas mileage. It was everything I was looking for.

I like the push button start. Plenty of USB ports. Comfortable seating. Very clear back up camera. Smooth drive. I like how smooth it is.

We rented the 2019 Equinox with full options for a month through our insurance after my own vehicle was totaled. It looks small but it packs a punch in all areas. The deceptive size is realized once you open the doors to a roomy and luxurious leather interior. All the comforts too! Personal temperature control, heated seats, full online options including hot spot and serious radio. GPS navigation. It has that SUV look but is not so high up that getting in is a problem. Performance. She really has a lot of power, great control on snowy roads the driver assist features are great too especially the backup camera feature. Handles like a dream and stops on a dime. My only issue with the model I drove was the suspension. It seemed awful 'stiff' for a luxury model. You definitely noticed the bumps in the road, not jarring but not as smooth as expected. I basically felt spoiled overall and really enjoyed driving this truck. If I could afford it I'd snag one up in a heartbeat. Broke my heart having to return my rental!

This is a nice car with alot of extras feel very safe in this car would recommend this car to anyone, the color the interior and everything else

a car built in Canada that you can run in the summer time.because you lose the turbo in cold wheather and the 1.5l motor is to small with out the turbo

The equinox is a great car. This is the third one that we have owned. My wife is the primary driver and she really loves the way it goes in all types of weather.

I like the room the equinox has in it I like the mid size car. I like the color I got pepper dust. Will probably buy another one
