1RS a mixed Bag of good And Bad

Bought my 1RS back in July. Currently have 2k miles on it. So far Back window does not go down at times. I get a loud annoying base sound throughout the car at times. The AC will not cool the car with remote start. So yes it definitely has it faults. But I do enjoy driving it. I am going to try to make this last as long as u can..I do question durability of the Turbocharged 3 Cylinder however.

My First Brand New Car/ WORTH THE WAIT

I am very pleased with my new TRAX. I've had it a month and I am really enjoying it. I call it my Cayenne Pepper. With all the safety innovations on it, I tell everyone that it is making me a better driver. I didn't think I would like all the computer caution items but it helps to keep me focused and alert. It looks really sporty to me, and I like it's lines.

AWESOME CAR!

AWESOME CAR! GM did a great job of redesigning this car. I love driving it it's so peppy, when I hit the accelerator with that turbocharged 1.2 liter engine it's gone. Yeah sure, it's not a muscle car, but for the price and the comfort, and the driving it's awesome. GREAT JOB CHEVROLET!

Not a Trax

I have had multiple problems with the screens. The other day while driving the radio and speedometer screen went out. Multiple warning lights, check lights etc. Bad choice! Stay clear.

Disappointed

I have had rs2 for 10 weeks and I was really excited about the look and feel, now not so much. The radio/bluetooth is not working(waiting for new one ), the back window doesn't go down and when you use cruise control it feels like you are driving with emergency brake on( wasn't I checked). I am so disappointed in the car and dealerships lack of interest.

I like it!

I purchased an Activ trim on July 20th. It has the driver confidence and wireless charging/sunroof packages. Very well equipped with regard to all the new safety features on vehicles now. It came with all weather floor “liners” (not mats) for $295. It’s cheaper to buy that on your own at the dealer’s accessories counter. The price before TTL and after a $500 rebate was $26,335. I had a deposit on a Cacti Green color, but needed a car sooner and had to settle on a Black one. I’m not disappointed at all, however. I think it looks sharp with the black wheels. I’ve read a few reviews saying they had infotainment or electrical issues. I haven’t had any. I’ve had the car for three weeks and it has 1300 miles on it. It had four miles on it when I got it. I did replace the stock antenna with a stubby one I got on Amazon for about $7. I don’t really listen to the radio much. So if the reception capability is reduced, oh well. It worked when I ops checked it. Now I don’t need to unscrew the antenna before driving through a car wash. After driving it a decent amount, I am very happy with how the vehicle handles through turns and its pick up in traffic. Most of my driving has been stop and go at peek times with the A/C blasting and I’m averaging 29.2 mpg. My buddies were (after making fun of me) impressed with the torque of the 3 cylinder. My last vehicle was a 2011 VW Tiguan. That had a pretty strong engine and the Trax doesn’t make me miss it. I wouldn’t challenge anyone to a race, but I’m not scared to pull into traffic. They also dug the legroom in the back seat! Car seats were an easy install (for those with small children). The rear doors open plenty wide. It is a pretty awesome tech upgrade from my last vehicle too, especially at the price point. #backupcamera….haha! The powered driver’s seat is very comfortable for me. The remote start via the “My Chevy” app has been clutch in this summer 100+ degree heat. Especially with black paint and dark interior. The A/C comes on with remote start in this trim and will run for 15 minutes. So, if you get caught up and forget it’s on, it will turn off for you. I’m sure after I get the front windows tinted and have a radiant heat film installed on the windshield, it won’t be so bad when I forget to start it early for the drive home. I am really enjoying this vehicle and hope it stays dependable. I like the way it looks and the ground clearance it has. I sometimes have to drive on an unimproved surface to park at work and have yet to have it scrap it on anything, unlike other folks with lower ground clearance on their cars. The interior of the Activ looks and feels really nice to me. Cheap but not cheap. Know what I mean? If you don’t need a large vehicle and are looking for a comfortable, inexpensive, nice driving, and (in my opinion) nice looking new daily driver, I’d recommend the 2024 Trax. Hope my review helps!

Screens will not work on brand new trax.

I bought the vehicle yesterday. When I stopped to get lunch, the screens would not work when I started it back up. I have literally had the car for less than 200 miles and bought it brand new.

Defected brand new car

I’ve had my 2024 trax for only a months now and I’ve had to leave it at the dealership two weeks after I purchased this vehicle, I had to get a sensor checked and replaced. Get the vehicle back just to start having issues with the bass and speakers in the car, just to be told I have to wait a week to get it looked at. So disappointing that a brand new vehicle had these issues already.
