Reliable but unnecessary to buy new!
I think I made a poor decision buying a new car just because I was tired to driving junky vehicles. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good car but I should have bought a year older vehicle or waited a few months to get the same vehicle with just a couple thousand miles on it and saved over 10K! You lose value immediately and the features really are not worth the money. Really. Even the efficiency is average and you would get the same with most over vehicles of the same make just a year or more older with very similar features. Wait. Don’t rush to buy a new car. You will regret it. Especially because you can get similar assurances and warranty from slightly older cars or suvs. Buying from a dealer was a bad idea. Nice car but a poor investment. Not really worth it. Especially since I think they should include Sirius radio and all that with the buy. Plus there’s not enough room to stretch out for taller people. Overplayed. Nice cameras. Worth it if you just wait to buy it slightly used.

Reliable Car
Have had several Honda Civics and this one has been one of the best so far. Excellent mileage and super performance. Too bad it did not have the CD slot, still have some of those left. Make sure you buy the one with the booster.

Transmission Dead at 20 months/ 40K km
It's a beautiful car until suddenly it tries to die mid-commute and the transmission is shot. So disappointed. The interior touch screen display was often glitchy as well (and this is the only control for the fan/heat/ac!!). Total lemon and it still even smelled new.

I loved driving this car and would recommend it to anyone. Between driving on the highway or around town it is a great reliable car to get you from point A to point B.

Absoluetly love my sporty civic!
I leased my 2017 civic 2 summers ago (almost 2 years) and I’m incredibly happy with it. I have the EX model and would upgrade to get leather seats but otherwise, everything I could ever need and more is available in my EX trim civic. I get excited to get in and drive it to this day! Tons of room, super comfortable, and push button and remote start are basically standard. You really can’t go wrong buying this gen civic! Gas mileage for its size blows my mind, I save tons at the pump.

The single biggest disaster of a car I've ever had
Civic EX-Turbo Right off the bat I had problems after buying it new. First the front grille fell off overnight in the driveway. Dealer said a plastic retainer was broken, probably during assembly. Their fix was to superglue it back together (this should have been a warning). The onscreen climate control/stereo system would randomly re-boot itself without warning, shutting down the defroster with it (this was great in the winter). Dealer could never fix. Apple CarPlay would crash the system when connected. Walk-away-locking system would randomly send alert beeps and fail to lock, or, it would lock itself and set off the alarm while driving. Dealer could never fix. Finally the windshield rattled. Started rattling a week after purchasing. You could stop the rattle by pressing on it while driving. Dealer said it was the headliner so they replaced it. It wasn't the headliner. Didn't give them another shot because by this time I was too fed up with spending literally every other weekend back at the dealer. Traded it in for another make after 6 months. My first Honda was my last Honda.

This car met my needs. I like the fact that this doesn't have too many electronic features and it's more or less simple for me to use.

Best car I've ever owned
This car is great for all my needs! It comfortably fits a forward facing car seat, lots of leg room in the front (I haven't sat in the back so I don't know), it's amazing on gas, the back up camera is perfect and much needed for my driving at night, and just overall perfect car for a small family that travels a lot.
