2017 Honda Civic consumer reviews

In 2017, I bought a Civic EXL. Before buying this car new, I researched and test drove most of the competitors, including the Corolla, Legacy, Golf, and Soul. Only the Civic checked all the boxes. Excellent fuel economy, wonderful handling, great reliability, reasonable price, good looks, etc. Even now as I drive it, I still appreciate how it handles, and how comfortable it is. I noticed that when I first bought the car, and took on a long drive, my back would start aching after an hour. However within a month, the seat had conformed to my shape, and is very comfortable even for long drives. I live in high elevation and put Blizzak snow tires on it for the winter, and have no problems getting around in the snow. I will have this car for many more years, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, reliable fun car to drive.

It's a smooth, quiet, and reliable car. It has some fun extras such as a sunroof, backup camera, right side camera whenever the turn signal is used, gas mileage monitor, blue tooth, and cruise control. It's great to have such a reliable car.

Have had my ‘17 Civic Hatchback EX for 7 months, it’s been a pleasure to own. I use it mainly as my daily commuter car for work. My main +’s: - great gas mileage (average 38 mpg) - turbo power really kicks in when you need it - apple car play - remote start - great seat heater - handles ok, not super sporty, rides well - hatchback provides lots of cargo room - brake hold feature feels like a great bonus. I didn’t anticipate using or liking this as much as I do. A couple negatives: - gas tank is a bit small. I really have to baby it to get 400+ miles on a tank, & averaging 150-200 miles a day, I have to fill up way too often. - fabric in the EX seems to attract dirt & is hard to clean. Otherwise, it is a fantastic car.

This car has plenty of room! It is very reliable and it is exactly what I needed. It’s good on gas and very well maintained. It’s clean. Shifts great. And has many accessories.

I was looking for a manual coupe and this 2017 Civic EX-T has so far exceeded my expectations. So much fun to drive, the pick up is excellent, and all of the interior features are great! A lot of family and friends recommended Honda, now I know why!

The car ride good and in good shape also it for me to go work and back home it will be a great traveling car if decided to do so

Car is fantastic, all bells and whistles. The MPG can’t e beaten My kids think it’s a cool car- and I call that a win - win.

This car has great safety features and is easily maneuverable. It is very comfortable and reliable. For those that are concerned about space, I assure you this car is spacious for both driver and passenger. I highly recommend it!

I had the Civic EX as lease for 3 years. By the end of year 1, my interior plastic trim was falling down and the sunroof button had just randomly fallen down onto my lap while driving. During yeat 2, the AC system no longer blew cold. When I brought it to the dealer, I was told that there was a recall on the condensor. They insisted that it was not related to the recall, but that I had blown a line and it wasn't covered by warranty (Typical Dealership Lies) and they refused to even change the condensor. Not only that, but they wanted $1200 to fix it. 2017 is the END of Honda reliability.

We love this car. It is very sleek with a 6 speed manual transmission. It gets great gas mileage, and it has wonderful features for the price point. Overall, we love this car!!
