Great driving car

I like how the car drives. The handling is great and the power is nice. I am getting 32 miles to the gallon in the city. It is comfortable and easy to handle. The interior layout has limited storage. The trunk is big for this size of car.

Very comfortable car & fits my needs.

Very smooth ride & thus far no problems other than A/C needs to be fixed. It's definitely a smaller car & front end is low but overall very nice!

Sporty, comfortable and affordable...

My car is sporty I like the body style for that year. The interior is roomy for the both of us. Very gasoline efficient. Very low maintenance. Honda is my go to brand for high quality and affordable cars.

Newest car I've ever owned

Just picked it up and I'm enjoying it so far. It handles well and gets good gas mileage. Other then some minor scratches it's in perfect shape.

The hatch had the best sport feeling look

It rings all my bells that I wanted. Leather seats, Navigation, Rims. Some of my #1 features are Auto hi beams, LED headlights, Lane watch cam, the 2 exhaust pipes in the back. It gets good gas mileage for a 2018 sport touring model. The one only thing I wish I had a choice in was a manual. They didn't offer that till 2020 model year. I did have an Ex hatch which was a lease but I loved that model so much I purchased the Sport Touring after my lease was up. I should just went with the Sport Touring in the first place and then I would keep the lease car. My first Civic was back in 1998 dx coupe bought that brand new and had for 14 yrs till I sold it. I plan to keep this for much longer like 20 yrs at least. Upgrade it with after market parts here and there. Be interesting to see what the new civic looks like. But we got a keeper. Nice road trip car rides so smooth. Has nice pickup when you need it too. If I had to pick a dislike is didn't come with a manual in 2017-2019 in the touring model sucks. But the sport hatch did backwards. Oh and no rear seat vents or USB at the sport touring level. And last one I like the cool new 2020 vents in the front that looks like Nike swoosh it covers the horn etc. I called Honda parts dept. Outrages $190 each vent I have 4 vents do the math. And I was thinking oh let me ask how much is the SI red seat belts it was more then the vents each. I got beside myself with my dislikes. But that's it. Overall I would buy again but get a 2020 hatch sport touring with a manual. But then again I would lose the engine start which I love. Geez I am a mess. Its a awesome car I love it and will keep to the wheels fall off.

Love the sporty look

We love the car. We were looking for a car that got better gas mileage and had all the extras we wanted. We also shopped specifically for a hatchback. We were looking at Honda civics, Chevy Cruz's and Toyota corolla's. I found this one on line and the price looked good!

A Car that is almost perfect.

The Honda Civic SI has a turbo charged 1.5L engine with a 16:9:1 compression ratio. What does that mean? It means the engine requires premium gas, but wait that’s not what Honda says in the manual?! That’s because the on board computer compensates for knock, which Would normally occur in this situation. That being said, the knock software wasn’t very good in my experience, the car would fail to start periodically and sometimes stall. Honda has acknowledged this and offered to replace the fuel pump for free. Because I don’t believe this is the whole solution (and I intended to do some aftermarket work to the car one day), I just switched to premium gas, and I have no issues. I also average 35 mpgs, which is real nice. The air conditioning is also awful, but Honda, again has acknowledged this and extended the AC warranty for 10 years beyond the manufacturing of the vehicle. The car is gorgeous for a Honda Civic and it has enough umph when accelerating. HOWEVER the Honda Civic SI suspension is terrible, it can’t handle turns that well and it’s bumpy as xxxx (this isn’t a negative for some). This car is also terrible in the snow, snow tires are a must in metro detroit. Overall the car is about as reliable as average car, but I don’t regret how it looks or how fun it is to drive, not to mention the gas mileage. As an FYI, the Honda Civic SI is also one of the most expensive cars to insure on the market.

Good look and full of power!

Enjoy the ride each time I drive. Very fast with a turbocharged 1.5L engine. Very functional dashboard instruments. Good seats and spacious trunk. I like the auto brake hold feature, makes a lot of sense when driving in heavy city stop-start driving condition. Fuel economy is excellent with 40 mpg on highway and 34 mpg in city driving condition.

Reliable, excellent commuter

This car gets great gas mileage and is very reliable overall with sleek design inside and out. Maybe not the most comfortable for long commutes, but great for everyday use.
