Cheap SUV wanna be

I doubt this vehicle will ever come close to the claimed fuel economy. It's a gutless wonder. Can only get 27mpg. Seats are VERY uncomfortable even with adjusting it every possible way I can, my back still hurts and my xxxxxxxx goes numb. I should have bought my 6th Toyota 4runner or tried the highlander. I do think the CRV is better than the noisy Rav, even the new 2019.

Flaw in 2018 makes me regret purchase

I loved my 2010 CRV but the 2018 has a flaw in the design which allows fuel to dilute the oil causing it to be overfilled. Honda has a software update but it didn’t work and I get a strong smell of gas in the cabin. Honda pretty much tried to tell me it was fine but with the help of my dealership and my complaints to attorney general and the NHTSB, they are looking at my car again and will be replacing my PCv valve and fuel injectors. There is no way there isn’t some damage to my engine even though I am getting the oil changed about every 2000 miles. Cars.com and consumer reports need to update the information and possibly stop recommending this car until Honda makes it right.

2018 CRV is a great car

Just recently swapped my 2016 CRV for a 2018 CRV...the differences are amazing. Excellent leg room. A wider and longer cabin gives this car the extra room it needed to make an exceptional ride. The turbo engine adds a little extra pick up which makes driving a lot more fun. Lane Assist, additional camera views and other audio and safety features gives this vehicle the feel of a Infinity or Acura. Solid gas mileage and low maintenance costs make this an affordable and efficient vehicle to own and operate. In addition, my insurance DROPPED because of the newly design and extensive safety features. In addition, no need for a nav system since the car links to your phone apps and Goggle Maps...this saves thousands of dollars! This vehicle is well worth the cost and makes transporting our bikes and outdoor equipment a breeze for day long or week long getaways.

Love my 2018 CR-V, for the most part...

I drove a 2015 Accord EX-L before purchasing this, my first brand new car. The performance is topnotch, with great handling and engine responsiveness. I love Apple Car Play, and the safety features are excellent as well, though I do miss my lane change camera. Honda cheaped out on a few things in the EX model, one being a driver side storage pocket. The standard mats are thin and cheap, showing every little bit of dirt and hair. I corrected this by purchasing quality after market mats, and a rubber cargo liner. My other complaint is the amount of water that leaks into the car upon washing. I wonder if there is anything that can be done to seal out any of the water that comes in? Some kind of moulding that can be applied?

CarPlay does NOT work

I am enjoying this car a lot. It drives nicely. It has good pick up for a 4 cylinder car, and good gas mileage. Nice safety features. Horrible Bluetooth, CarPlay, and overall phone connect-ability to any phone. If you plug in your phone via USB the car doesn’t recognize your phone most of the time. The Bluetooth connection is spotty, sometimes it works but others it doesn’t. The CarPlay has never connected in my car. I have tried every possible thing to get it to connect and have not been successful once. I would have never bought the car if I new how terrible the phone connections were going to be. It’s meant to be safer and user friendly and beyond not that.
