Very well designed. Excellent Ride

I purchased the Sonata with the Sport Package and it not only looks great but rides really well. I would recommend this sedan for just about anyone who likes a quiet ride with a lot of comfort.

A lot to Like

There's so much to like about the Sonata. The dashboard and interior tech are great, it's a comfortable ride, the gas mileage is pretty good, and the trunk is spacious. Hard to rate its reliability though as we've only had it a month. The only minor downside (not really a big issue for us), is that it seems to lack kick. It's plenty powerful enough for us, but I suspect those who enjoy quick acceleration might prefer something with a bit more horsepower.

New QualityCar - Right Price

Our Sonata is a new purchase. We were initially attracted to the vehicle because of the incentives. However, once we drove the car we realized it was an exceptionally nice vehicle. The engine has a lot of pep while getting good mileage. The car is comfortable for good sized adults with plenty of headroom and seat size. The car's storage capacity for hauling "family things" can't be beat. And there are an outstanding number of safety features and "creature comforts". It also doesn't hurt that our Sonata has best-in-class warranties. We fully anticipate the car will hold up against our New England winters.

Good balance of comfort, style, and performance.

This car meets my needs. It has a comfortable and quiet ride. There is plenty of leg room. The back seat is roomy. Lots of trunk space for the size of car. I like the android auto for navigation. The only slight annoyance is that I have to have my phone plugged in for android auto to work, but there isn't a convenient place to put my phone while is plugged in. There is a place to put it but it has to be upside down and the cord is out and in the way. It would be nice to have a dock of some kind or have the little storage compartment bigger where the USB is so my phone can fit in there and be closed away. This is a slight annoyance though. It is definitely a great car and I love driving it! We got the Sport 2.0T so it's really fun!!

Love it!

We absolutely love this car. The technology has opened new doors for us--e.g., I can use my Spotify playlists every time I'm in the car!! We love the ease of unlocking the doors, the self-opening trunk, etc. the car is roomy, both front and back and the trunk is really large. The ride is smooth and quiet, and we're getting good gas mileage. Finally, we love the appearance of the vehicle. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased.

Real Nice

This car is nice and it handles very good. I like the color and style. The interior is very comfortable. I wish I had the Tech Package, I would have liked the seat memory. The cruise control has a delay when reengaging.

the 3rd Sonata we have owned

Our 1st Sonata, a 2009, kept me alive through a very bad wreck involving a drunk driver. Its replacement, a 2011, has served us very well for 6 years. So when it was time for me to leave my old Celica, I test drove several other makes in the same class, but came back to the Sonata. Its overall comfort, fit, response and feel was what I wanted.

This is my first new car

Love this cat it's very spacious and actually good on gas I owned a 2012 Elantra before this is my first new car and I'm absolutely in love. I have the SE model the only thing I wish I would've gotten added are the fog lights/led bars.

Great warranty, affordably priced, dependable!

Last year we went to CarMax and sat in LOTS of cars and test drove our favorites. When it came down to it the Sonata Sport felt like a quality car, tight steering, sound & solid doors and very comfy with a lot of options. What sold it over a couple others was the warranty was almost twice as long as the other major brands - even being a used car. Loving our 2015, we saw the incentives offered by Hyundai on the 2017's. We went and looked. Very much the same car, we opted for the Limited for a few more options and then even the Tech package to add more fun stuff to the great car we already knew it to be and for the price we got a lot of fun stuff that I probably wouldn't have chose to pay for if it wasn't for the great $6750 Hyundai was offering in rebates. The car does great on gas, about 28-30 in town and have gotten low 38 mpg on the road, but average about 36 on the highway! Solid car with a fantastic warranty and sporty look.

My first car!

I decided on the Hyundai because I wanted to drive for Uber and I got a $1000 rebate on the car because of some deal between the companies. I don't regret it! It's very comfortable, stylish, leather interior and decent gas mileage. This is the first car I've owned but the monthly payments are reasonable to me and the car operates as expected. It's been a month now and I've had no problems. So far so good and I'm happy with my decision!
