Still a New Owner

We test drove almost every vehicle in this segment before deciding on the Tucson, the primary reasons being (1) excellent "greenhouse" visibility, (2) smooth, quiet ride, (3) good driving experience and (4) amazing value for the price -- which had attractive rebates. We chose the standard engine because it was the only way to get the smaller 17" wheels. The vehicle is no ball of fire, but acceleration is adequate and the smaller wheels result in a less "jiggly" ride than the bigger 19" wheels. Even with the base powertrain, however, we were able to get a full featured vehicle that included a premium audio system, dual climate control, leather interior, powered front passenger seat, and heated front seats (which have been FABULOUS this winter.) The result is a surprisingly quiet, smooth and comfortable vehicle for four (five in a pinch). It's good on gas, and relatively engaging to drive. Based on others' experience, we expect excellent reliability and owner experience. Even if we experience a problem, the warranty is hard-to-beat.

Hyundai does it better

I got it leased for my wife and we both are really happy with the price value, quality, financial options and new look. It is what we needed; comfortable seats with plenty legs room front and rear. Also, plenty space in the cargo area even more when you close the rear seats. We got the LS model, which have more features than expected. Clean and modern exterior and interior look and most of all the 100K/10 years warranty which is the best value in the market.

Tucson vs Handia SUV

We drove the Honda SUV and it was great for families (great cabin experience) and the Tuscan was great for empty nesters with lists of extra features.

great vehicle for a family

the vehicle has great room for a family and also delivers power on the road without killing the gas tank. takes a minute to adjust to the acceleration in the vehicle, other than that I think additional plug-ins in the rear would help out. overall it's a grade A vehicle.
