Love my new car!

I've only had this car for a week, but I fell in love at first sight! The styling is subtle and sleek, which I love. Gas mileage is amazing! I love having CarPlay and the stereo system sounds awesome! It's still crazy how silent it is when you start it up. Good amount of cargo and passenger space.

To soon to tell you how I feel

The sales Team (Brad & Gurdeep) were the best. To soon to tell how the crossover will do but so far I have been pleased.

Surprised by comfort and fuel economy

After careful research and test driving several hybrid cars, we decided on the Kia Niro, despite the EPA rating of only 40 mpg on the highway. After 1,900 miles in 3 weeks, we are average 46 mpg with 4 people, and 49/50 with 1 person in the car. This is between 50-60 mph and driving for the best economy. 60 - 70, mileage drops towards 40 mpg. Transmission links electric and gas motors seamlessly - great technology. Technology package adds latest safety features and works well. Only complaint is that the lumber support adjustment should be slightly higher - I'm 6 feet and the adjustment is slightly below the height for optimum comfort. Good thigh support and steering wheel adjustments.

Love the gas mileage

I am getting great mileage! I also really like the styling! Shop for one at Royal Kia - Tucson. Don't go to the other Kia dealership unless you want to be ripped off.

Excellend Hybrid from Kia

This car has been so much fun to drive in the short amount of time that I've had it. It is sporty, classy and fun all rolled into one cool package. I have never owned a hybrid, and was a little concerned about how much power it would have. Never fear - it has a cool Sport mode option that gives it the get-up-and-go I need when merging onto the freeway (or whenever you need to GO!) Interior is really roomy, even though you wouldn't know it from looking at in from the outside. I did not get the Touring package, but the package I did get is VERY nice...has Apple Car Play, which is awesome if you haven't ever had that. That feature (in my opinion) is even better than the standard Bluetooth connectivity the car comes with. Overall, mileage is awesome, comfort is great and it is a fun car to drive.

Impressive amount of tech with one exception

2017 Kia Niro Touring. Overall I'm very please, except for the following: 1. The UVO system adds no value and 2. the vehicle does not read or notify sms text messages from my smartphone. This is very suprising, I mean even my Fiat reads incoming text messages. Not getting the mileage I expected but still around 40 mpg in the city. Hoping this improves as the vehicle breaks in.

Love the Niro

Our experience was great thru the entire sales process at Carriage Kia in Gainesville, GA and we are thrilled with our new Niro. We now have a little over 600 miles and are averaging 54 miles per gallon and the good thing is it is still extremely comfortable.

A beautiful car, inside and out

I'm funny about my cars...they must be reliable, practical, and have a sleek design. The KIA Niro Touring fits the bill. I discovered the Niro at the Phila Car Show after checking out other mfrs crossovers of the same size. I never looked back at the other cars. It's my first hybrid auto so I'm still learning about many of the features. The fit and finish is impressive. There are differences in driving a hybrid vs a gasoline vehicle, but, so far, I am very pleased. We have only had the Niro for a week so I can't speak to specific operational issues. But because of the long warranty, the breadth of features, and the good service experiences we have had at KIA with our Soul, I'm expecting this love affair to last for a long time! Everything seems magical about this car.

Everything Seems to Work Well

I've only had the car for three weeks, but it's been a pleasure to drive it so far. The car shifts smoothly, the ride is firm but controlled, it's extremely quiet inside, and the seats are very comfortable. The passenger seat adjusts for height, a huge plus for shorter people. The gas consumption is as expected and sometimes better. It averaged 4.0 l/100 over a 200 km trip. In the city, it averages 5.5 l/100, so far. The size is just right for the two of us.
