Engine

At 90k miles we have to replace the engine. Known issue apparently. Makes me question reliability ratings provided for vehicles. Outside of the car working, everything else is fine.

Very disappointed

I’ve had this car for 10 days bought used with 80k miles, while the outside is sleek and very up to date with thr seats being so comfortabLe front and back… engine is crap. There is a lawsuit and I see why. When accelerating it rattles and sputters. The engine while cranking periodically WONT and violently shakes & shakes while making loud crazy noises making you want to jump out in fear for your life. The braking system is scary. No check engine light. It just cranks back up like nothing is wrong. Kias advice to me was to crank the car BEFORE letting my kids get in. SMH. Lesson learned. I’ll never buy a Kia again.

My kia is awesome!!

I absolutely love my kia Sportage. Good on gas, comfortable ride and looks good. I'm short and my seat raising up makes it so much easier to see.

Car with 75000 miles drinking oil

My wife bought a used one had about 17,000 miles. Now it has around 75000 miles. Oil change around every 3000 miles and other maintenance at Kia dealership. Last month she had oil change 3 weeks later had to add almost 4 quarts of oil. Took to dealership following week for service. Already used another quart of oil. Dealership said they couldn't do nothing. Come On a car 75000 and ran easy.drinking oil and warranty don't cover. That bull***".

Very comfortable ride.

I like the SUV style that it sits a little higher making it easier to get in & out of. The rear cargo hatch is extremely nice when loading groceries or traveling. Plenty of USB ports, heated seats (my fav), great stereo, rear cameras, and plenty of head and leg room. I just love this vehicle.
