Hugh improvement

This car meets all my needs. I was looking to upgrade to a larger vehicle without spending an insane amount of money. The Kia Sportage is a great mid-size SUV for the money.

The right size

We love Kia, I owned a Kia Sorento the past 4 years. It was great and tho it may not make sense to some but the reason I had to replace it I needed an easier vehicle to get into. I am 62 years old and as we age especially women, we seem to lose height. Well that is happening right to me. The past couple of years I noticed I was needing to use the steering wheel to help me get into my car. I had to buy a car that was easier to get into but still gave me that sense of not sitting to close to the road. I bought my Kia Sportage due to accessibility, comfort, economical and I still feel I'm on top of the road. I'm very happy with my new car.

newset car

I am surprised at how solidly it hugs and holds these country roads, that twist & turn. Good on gas ,as well. My friends were comfortable in the big seat; and they were both adults and tall, muscular teens.

Excellent Car.

I absolutely love this car for many reasons. The exterior and interior styling is gorgeous. The 2.4L 4 cylinder on the EX AWD has more than enough power and pep. I wish KIA had better configured their optional packages. I opted for the EX AWD Sportage with the Premium Package. The Premium Package offers a Panoramic Sunroof, Heated Steering Wheel, LED Interior Lighting and Garage Door Programming. I didn't opt for the $2,900 Technology Package, simply because I didn't need some of the features such as the Navigation System, and Premium Sound. I wish KIA had thrown in the Smart Power Tailgate as part as the Premium Package, as this is the only feature I wish I had. For $30,000 and features such as a Heated Steering Wheel, Panoramic Sunroof and Leather seating surfaces, the car should come equipped with a Power Tailgate. Also, none of the Sportages can be configured with Memory Seats, which is a huge disappointment. I feel as though KIA forgot to offer the memory seats with even the top-of-the-line SX trim! I wish the EX Premium came equipped with a Power Tailgate and Memory Seating. For over $35,000, buyers should get memory seating. Overall, I love the Sportage. I looked ahead and these changes I have suggested haven't been put into effect for the 2018 model year. I just wish for the 2019 year that KIA made these minor modifications. Great car nonetheless.

One of the best crossovers for the money.

I test drove the crossovers from all mfgs., found the Sportage and the Subaru Crosstrek to be superior to the others.

Brand new - no issues

Finally back in an all wheel drive car - can't wait for winter. I searched and test drove everything in the small SUV from everyone. - Kia had it all without having to get the top of the line.

Sweeet......

I previously owned an Optima which I loved but was ready to get back into an SUV. The Sportage is fantastic and not too large. Lovely body style and very comfortable. A real pleasure to drive....
