Good car

I have never owed a Subaru before so the reliability is still undetermined. Purchased a new 2018 Crosstrek and all is going well so far within the first month. Took my first road trip (700 miles) it got ok gas mileage. Looking forward to troublefree ownership.

New car high

I have only had the car for a week but everything is working well so far. I had driven a civic for 10-11 years and really liked the dependability through the 150,000 miles we were together. I needed a car with more ground clearance for the un-maintained dirt roads I occasionally need to drive for work and play. I narrowed down to the Crosstrek after comparing HRV, Encore/Trax, CX3, and Juke. I was hoping for a slightly smaller car but to get the ground clearance, drive feel, and use of regular gas, this is wear I landed. The ride is smooth and much more quiet than I am used to. I do not have to climb up into the car. The eyesight system is nice with a beep when if I get close to crossing a line, side mirror light that comes on if someone is in a blind spot, and the variable speed cruise control seemed to work flawless as I tested it including to a full stop. The controls seem pretty intuitive or at least standard, so I am not searching around for controls.

Crosstrek

I really love my new crosstrek, it handles really well and has a great deal of power even with a 2.0 4 cylinder engine. It has a lot of features eyesight driver assist technology, like lane departure and lane sway warning, I like the lights on the side mirrors to warn if a car is in my blind spot, I'm not sure yet about the starlink, after reading all the details it sounds like a cell phone would be all I would require as too many variables can prevent system from working properly and also doesn't guarantee that if emergency occurs may not be able to get help when I need it plus it automatically charges my charge card when the contract expires. I don't usually read instructions kinda wish I hadn't this time, takes the fun out of the extras. But so far no buyers regret...

My Wife Loves her Second Subaru

My wife loved her Subrau Baja and swore she would never part with it. Two grand kids later we needed something with more room. She test drove the Outback and decided it was just too big for her and she couldn't get excited about it. The Foresters driver seat just didn't fit her comfortably. The 2018 Crosstrek has proven just right. She loves the comfort, handling, quiet cabin, adaptive headlights, Eyesight safety systems and the bright Sunshine Orange exterior and gray interior with orange contrast stitching. When I told her she needed to drive the Baja so I could wash her Crosstrek she gave me a dirty look. I guess you could say she is very happy with her Crosstrek (Crusher). Im very impressed with the performance and mileage (even during break in). The Crosstrek is averaging 33.5 MPG on the third tank of gas. Motortrend did a recent comparison of the Crosstrek against a Nissan and Jeep and confirmed the Crosstrek is no slouch. It had the fastest acceleration to 60 MPH. I know the Crosstrek is faster than our Subaru Baja with its 2.5L engine. The Crosstrek gives us about 5 inches more legroom in the backseat over the Baja without sacrificing legroom in the front. The only con is limited storage behind the backseat. With 2 car seats in place you are limited to 20.8 Cubic feet of storage. We just put snow tires on Crusher for the winter. The Baja was exceptionally secure with snow tires during winter driving. My wife is hoping the Crosstrek does just as well. No car is perfect yet the Crosstrek does so many things well it will be hard to find anything in its price range that delivers a better total package."

Amazing Redesign for the 2018! I am Bought!

The NEW 2018 CrossTrek is a Great Redesign where they took Care of the Complaints that they had on the 2017 Model. Their Eyesight system with Adaptive Cruise Control and Pre-Collision Braking System is Amazing! I was Driving on i95 here in the DC Metro Area and all I had to do was hold the steering wheel because the Car Brakes and accelerates by itself.

Left Rav4 for Crosstrek

My last car was a 2016 Toyota Rav4. My family and I have always been a Toyota family. However, that is about to change. Due to my recent purchase of a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, my whole family wants a Subaru. Quality and Price sold everyone in my home. I don't think I will ever go back.
