2020 Subaru Outback consumer reviews

I commute 40 miles each way to work - and have been very impressed with the fuel consumption, the comfort, and the ease of use of the various controls. During a short test drive you generally have to make a quick decision if you feel right in a vehicle or not. Since the purchase of the Outback, I have noticed that the more I drive it, the more I love it. Also, the Harmon Kardon system sounds wonderful.

So far, this car is superb. It accelerates nice, brakes, nice, has great visibility, has an incredible sound system, and lots of fun tech that is really nice.

poorly designed; poor workmanship -- carpeting not glued down, trim pieces falling off, interior rattle/vibration (good luck fixing that one); storage space is woefully inadequate (cd player in the center console??); headlights too bright -- oncoming cars flash brights at me even though i don't have my high beams on -- very dangerous! worse, headlights can't be adjusted. wireless charger doesn't work with car play; too many screens to go through to perform simple tasks, like adjusting seat temp, airflow, engine auto on/off. clearly, i could go on...

The car is too comfortable to drive. The price is better than the competitors. Im proud driving the car because people looks at the car all the time.

I love it because its great to drive. Navigation screen is big and awesome. Sporty interior in onyx edition. Safety features cannot be beat. Warranty is the best

I love it! The safety features, comfort and features are incredible! This is the second Subaru I purchased this year. My daughter drives the Impreza and My husband is purchasing a legacy next week.

This is my second Subaru and it's still the best car out there. Perfect balance of power, amenities, comfort and security . Great new color too!

Love the ease of finding and using all the wonderful features this car offers. I can find nothing to complain about. Subaru did a great job with attention to maneuverability,comfort and design.

Composed ride, the 2.5L is plenty of motor, Adaptive Cruise is my new best friend along with the Adaptive high-beams, reasonably quiet, decent handling, Driver aids are fun and most are useful to me. Been just a month with the Car. I liked my wife's 2020 Touring that I bought a 2020 Premium and am not disappointed. First 250 miles, 24.5mpg but the next 250 miles; mpg was 28.9. Both are combo driving. For an AWD vehicle, that is pretty impressive. It's early so hard to rate reliability. Had one hiccup with the infotainment center. Had gotten gas and driving away it was silent in the car. Radio, both AM and FM were not functioning. The other sources were. When I got a long red light, I shut the car off and restarted, the AM and FM were back. That was a couple weeks ago, no problems since. Also have experienced "Eyesight" shutting down but it was dark and seriously raining at the time. Had read it shuts down if it can't "see". Another week or so I will have my break-in miles done and can play a bit with the engine and paddle shift to see what the engine and rubber band CVT can do.I enjoy getting in the car each day. Very Satisfied with both purchases, wife loves her Touring.
