2019 Toyota Tacoma consumer reviews

The Tacoma in base trim is a simple and dependable truck. The less "extra" stuff you get on it the less there is to go wrong with it. In my opinion the base model is the best. Then put on whatever you want extra without overpaying for things you do not need. Example: you can get skid plates that are much heavier duty than those that come from Toyota.

We Love our Tacoma have taken it on several trips and enjoyed our ride in it very much bought a cover for bed so we could store luggage and the truck looks great with it

This truck is exactly what I wanted in my price range. Love both the exterior and interior. I have not owned a Toyota before this.

This truck is great! I needed something i could carry my son in so I could take him places with me in his carseat but also something I could haul things with. This truck fits all of my needs and more. My son loves it too! He now gets to places with daddy in daddy's truck!

I recently purchased a 2019 Tacoma double cab, six speed m/t leather, moonroof, heated seats etc... Traded in a 2015 Nissan Frontier, which I liked. This truck I love! Feels like sitting in a sports car. The controls are all in easy reach and very user friendly. The ride is super tight and feels great on these xxxxty Boston streets! Highly recommend!

The new 3.5 liter v6 is horrible, there’s a lot of lagging and hesitation. And the 6 speed transmission sucks. My 2019 Tacoma Limited is only 5 months old and I wished I never bought this pile of crap!!!

This truck meets my needs. Enough leg room front and back. My family and I love it! Now we can go camping and fishing and among other fun things! Previous vehicle we couldn’t. One happy camper here..!

This truck has met all my needs and desires. I previously owned a 2002 Tundra and was satisfied, then I owned a 2011 Tacoma access cab with a 4 cylinder. I liked everything about it except the gutless 4 cylinder. So now I own a 2019 Tacoma SR5 4x4 full cab with a v6. Plenty of power when needed, love the sound of the engine, it's towing capabilties are exceptional. Very smooth ride and very sturdy truck The only flaw I have found in this truck is that the knob to change it from 2x4 to 4x4 is the same shape as all the other control knobs, which in my opinion is not a good thing. If you reach for, let's say the fan switch to turn the airflow up and don't physically look, you could potentially changed it to 4x4 at high speeds. this to me is a design flaw. I also have a mild issue with the automatic transmission auto-shifting in stop and go traffic. Sometimes it doesn't react good enough for me but, this is a minor issue. btw I have put about 7500 mile on it so far and have owned it for 6 months

The Tacoma is great for my needs at home from picking up appliances, or gardening equipment and supplies. Great to take my grandchildren fishing. This is my second Tacoma and I have been very happy with it.
