It is a very reliable truck. Serves my needs.
Reliable, spacious, the right fit. Has all the necessary equipment. Very handy control of the steering wheel which accesses all electronics. Radio speakers could produce better sound quality.

I really like the wheels!
This is a nice looking truck! I had an '04 Tacoma PreRunner before this. So I'm really missing the designated back jumper seats. I really like the fact that I've now got the extra cab with 2 smaller doors that open up by grabbing the handle on the inside. I enjoy listening to my music. Did not realize until after, that there are no speakers in the extra cab area. I'll be looking into options and ways to install speakers in the back eventually. Rides smoother than my '04, also the interior is quite a bit larger, I'm petite to begin with, but my boyfriend should like the extra leg room! Still getting used to ALL the electronics, it's nice to have the Bluetooth integrated with the truck.

Toyota Tacoma four door TSS
I check out several trucks. At more than one dealership. The first one I opted for turned out to have been taken by an individual in Colorado through Car Guru. The sales associate suggested another similat choice which I was glad to accept.

Best midsize truck, nothing comes close
This truck is big enough, tough enough and reliable. The design inside and out is truck like and you will not regret it. I have a 2019 TRD Sport and I'm confident I could sell it today for more than I purchased it for two years ago. Try that with ANY other truck.

too many issues Toyota
well for a truck that jerks, wife says like driving a stick transmission with automatic, or driving in one of my hot rods that shift hard . told normal by dealership many times , only way to make better is to run with etc (electronic transmission control )button on ,yes we drove the ford & Chevy didn't shift as bad as this. and didn't shift like this when we test drove it happen at about 100 miles. coming down a hill notice it shifted funny display screen is terrible in any light, only really good at night. wife says friend kia screen is way better in a cheaper suv then what this truck cost. that the way they are told by dealer ship. auto headlight feature that turn headlight high beam to low when traffic coming towards you. turn on and off by itself, we live out in the sticks driving along no other light, Constance speed light will drop to low beam then high. nothing to reflect light , signs , slowing down braking, told normal by dealership 80 things could cause that . whatever, was told Toyota was best but guess not seems like they are being like gm so probably wont buy another . since every time took in and told nothing wrong . asked another who had a rav4 with same 4 cylinder doesn't have same issues but older one. he drove it said there something wrong with it . only. most good reviews on here are Toyota freaks that make excuses for them when they (Toyota) know they should make better product. this truck is outside same size as her old full size truck. for some reason they are getting huge for no reason . remember when you could actually reach over side of bed and get something . but inside is about a big seem as a old s10 or ranger. was only getting about 21 mpg until got to 5k now 25-26 mpg

Love this Tacoma!
Our new 'used' truck is the best we've owned. It's perfect for what we need and looks great both inside and out. It is comfortable and reliable and we plan I keeping it forever!

cannot perform in hilly topography or headwinds
Bought it knowing the above mentioned levels of comfort, styling etc., but did not know this 6 cylinder cant handle even most overpasses without downshifting to 5th gear. In a 15-20 mph headwind at hwy speeds it downshifts to 4th giving a 3000+ rpm and 12 mpg. Same in hilly areas and I don't mean extreme hills (20-30 degree stuff). This is NOT a highway traveler. Strictly city, farm and ranch. What a terrible disappointment Can't Imagine what Toyota is thinking>
