2018 Acura MDX consumer reviews

This car has exceeded all prior Acura cars which I owned, including an MDX and an RL model. The technology package offers excellent connectivity tools, as well.

Overall a very good and reliable vehicle throughout.. EXCEPT this has to be the most inept terrible working voice recognition system ever. my cellphone at far less cost has much better VR.. Honda/Acura should get rid of their internal developers and buy or license the voice recognition from google or anyone else... Navigation works fine but Voice recognition does not recognize anything and the revised version with more menus is worse than the original one I had in my 2015 MDX. ask for navigation and it gives you the phone!!!

The Acura SH-AWD MDX is a fantastic full size SUV. Roomy interior, speedy computer system and a smooth, comfortable ride. The trunk space and optional 3rd row seating are terrific as well as easy to get to. Further, the car is beautiful in white with the chrome accents. Now that Apple CarPlay is in the vehicles, they are even more enjoyable to be in. Love the brand and quality of product for the money. Tremendous value with Acura.

Overall, I am super excited about my MDX. This is my third MDX and it is by far my favorite one yet. I had to wait a few months extra to get the color I wanted, but it was definitely worth the wait!

We have bought and owned 2 fully loaded Acura MDX?s and loved both of them. Our first one was a 2004 and our first changeover from Jeep Grand Cherokees of which we had 3. We loved that MDX and got another new one in 2008 which we are still driving with 125,000 miles. We drove our friends new one and realize it is getting close to the time to buy another new one which we plan to do in the not too distant future. They are awesome vehicles.

Most enjoyable and comfortable vehicle we drove. The technology package is awesome looking forward to driving it a lot. Drive numerous other vehicles of different makes. Accura mdx hands down the best.

I absolutely love the quality and value of this car. I compared it to more expensive and similarly priced SUVs and this is by far the best value you can find. The technology in this car is better than some higher end lower priced cars and a clot cheaper than similar higher priced cars.

User friendly. Nice ride. Very spacious and comfortable. Love the apple pairing and the sound system. The luxury amenities exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to a long road trip.

We?ve owned the mdx for about 2 months. Fantastic vehicle, with great capabilities. I have 3 kids, and it?s a tad tight, but love the car! Suburban next!

This is my 5th MDX and although all of them have been great, each one is better than the previous one. I have looked carefully and extensively at many other SUV's (including Audi, BMW, Ford, Infinity, Lexus, Lincoln, Toyota and Volvo) prior to getting each of the MDX'S and Acura continuously does a great job of providing a variety of amenities that the others either don't provide or not nearly to the same extent. These include spacious storage in the console area with easy access, an arm rest that slides forward/backward, a large hidden storage bin behind the 3rd seat and a compass with the street name currently being driven on, indicated at the top middle section of the gauge display (with GPS navigation information, while it;s being used, also provided in this area as well as on the center navigation screen). Also, the blind spot warning indicator is inside the vehicle near the front bottom corner of each of the front windows as opposed to where it is located in so many other vehicles where it is commonly within the side view mirrors which is not always easy to see when it's raining or there is ice or water on the mirror or even when the window needs to be defogged or defrosted. There many other features included in the MDX that are each well thought out by Acura. The MDX is very spacious and roomy and yet the vehicle has a relatively low profile when compared to so many of the other SUV's that are comparable in size. Bottom line: if you are looking for an SUV, make sure you take a good look at the Acura MDX. It is comfortable, dependable, enjoyable to drive, has excellent fit and finish, is loaded with features and is a great value.
