I have driven the MDX before and I am impressed

MDX has met all my expectations being reliable and can depend on every destinations where you are going. With extra seats we can always accommodate big families.

Nice SUV

The Acura MDX base model is a nice SUV. It has decent features for a base package. I feel that for the price you're paying, you should get more. It drives smooth and thats about it. The dash screen is not user friendly and at times difficult to operate. 3rd row USB/charger ports are behind the seats and you would have to take off your seat belt to access them (not ideal). Blind spot detection/parking sensors are not standard in the base model, which for a "luxury" vehicle should come standard in my opinion instead of having to pay up to $6k more to get those features in a Tech package. Long review short, I traded in my basic 2019 MDX for a 2020 Kia Telluride EX and couldn't be happier. I wanted more from the Acura and thought even the base model would have a lot of great features but it didn't. If you like Acuras and like a lot of tech features, don't get the base unless you have the extra cash to get into a Tech or A-spec model, which are really nice.

i will not buy another acura

this is my second mdx in 17 years... i loved my first 2002 mdx but had a constant transmission issues(torque converter) that made the rpms jump in third ggear... After the second transmission rebuild I decided it was time to move on in 2008... Jump to 2017 and i get nostalgic and buy a 2014 mdx, thinking that those issues would have been resolved.. Nope, same torque converter issues, should have done more forum research... The current mdx i have is average at best.. the handling sucks, the acceleration is average, the gas milage is above average. What really eats me up with the acura dealership philosophy is their outrageous price for any service(stuff that would not be so crazy at other dealerships)... the roof rails and crossbars do not come standard but a dealship install(really) and the price is $900(xxx). My next car will not be an acura.

Very comfortable ride and experience

This car is a model I have had my eye on for awhile. I am so happy with it. It is beautiful inside and out. The drive experience is comfortable and quiet. Very spacious. There are a ton of features in this car that are great to have.

Comfort. Performance. Reliability.

I was searching for a car with three rows. This car was absolutely my first choice. Even the 3rd seat was comfy. Unfortunately the price was more than I wanted to pay but if I had the money, this would be the car.

MDX First SUV and it rides like my RLX.

Best SUV on the market. Plenty of room with the 3rd row. USB ports front and back and conveniently located. It rides like my RLX. It is priced better than the Lexus competition. a better car for the value

Very comfortable and excellent value

This car has every programmable feature that could possibly be desired. It is amazingly comfortable and has the quiet cabin that was primary for me.

It is overpriced

I love the look of the car!! It feels good to sit in. It has nice pickup while driving in the sport mode. Has a lot of features...too many, maybe. I do NOT like keyless cars, but that is my preference and nothing to do with Acura. Specific to the MDX, the doors are light weight and tinny feeling. The lumbar in my seat rolls around while I drive, there is a grasshopper hum sound on my roof when I am on the freeway. This is a brand new car, I've had it for 3 months. My door sensor was replaced at 1 week. The car quality feels low end, the price tag is not. Outside of the manufacturing short comings, this vehicle is ALL buttons. Push a button to start the car, push a button to drive reverse and park, push a button to operate climate control, radio, and all car settings. It is very distracting if you are driving because you MUST look at the screen in order to navigate these features. I've found this to be a negative about the car as I would prefer a dial or physical something to push rather than a touch screen button.

Love my MDX

My new MDX is by far the nicest, most luxurious vehicle we’ve ever owned. I am thoroughly enjoying driving it! It handles really well, and wasn’t difficult to adjust to at all, from a sedan.
