2006 Acura RL consumer reviews

I am a die hard Acura RL fan. I have had 6 RL's, (96, 99, 2000, 01, 04 and an 06) all purchased used and I drove each of them 2-5 years. 2 of them I got more when I sold them than what I paid for them. I can not say enough good about them, The ONLY iss ues I had were brakes which I considered normal maintenance. You can not go wrong with this car.

This car is reliable, smooth, has every function you could want. Overall good car, and great family car. I would highly recommend it! A must have!

This is Acura's flag ship car and offers out standing performance. It's reliable, well designed and smooth running automobile. It's a dream to drive & has many advanced features.

Bought this car in 2014. Always kept up with maintenance. Only major thing I had to do was replace the alternator in 2017 (11 years old by then). Currently at 280k miles. Frequently driven on an avg of 5 hour road trips. If I came across another one, I would not hesitate to buy it. I had the 2008 TL type S also, but I love the RL More. This is a keeper! An i will drive it til the wheels fall off.

This car meet all of our required needs. Offering plenty of head & leg room and plush comfortable interior, it's a very nice driving automobile.

Amazing how well this car has held up. Even the paint still looks good. Only degraded part is paint on front bumper. No problems otherwise.

I bought a used 2006 Acura Rl almost 10 years ago. At the time it the car was almost half of the original msrp. It is the car that I have had the longest with the least amount of repairs, as it gets older, it also became smaller, now with a family the once big enough for me car became too small for car seats. so I upgraded to a bigger suv but kept my acura rl. it has been a great car, reliable,economical even with the v6 motor, rare (you don't see many of them around for a 13-14 year old car, it was advanced and it has stuff that most new cars don't have. major maintenance items have been brakes twice, 1 set of tires,1 alternator, and 1 power steering pump in 10 years and according to my math it comes up to less than what you would spend in 1 dinner for 2 at a nice place per year.. yes, less than 70 per year. not bad at all, the still performs, as it should, no up grades, except for brighter hid light bulbs and fog lights, the stereo just recently stopped playing cds driver side seat is tearing up little by little but everything else works and everything else looks good. my son will learn to drive in it and probably used it as his first car.

definitely a good car, has all the necessary functions options and performance with no drawbacks. I would absolutely purchase this vehicle and If was given the opportunity or option

Great technology package, lot of leg room, good for drive, awesome sound system, great for all weather condition especially in winter (loaded with heated seats )

Love going with my family for drives in this vehicle and the it drives smooth and has a great sound system to chill with. Great power and handles like a dream.
