most evrythis is right

some minor things that need improvement: the turning radius is too wide (40'), something like on VW passat (35') would be much better. and the dashboard lighting can stand improvement: there are times when it's too pale to read in daylight but you need the headlights on.

Best value+reliability for your buck

Bought this car used from private seller at 50k. Never had any problems. VERY reliable car. The performance is awesome; easily cruse at 120-130mph on the highway. People tell me they like my new car (they don't realize it's 5 years old). I have the RSX type S, and it's so much better (and faster) than the new civic SI coupe. Best thing is that the Type S comes standard as fully loaded.

Love this car -- and so does everyone else!

I purchased my '05 Acura RSX Type - S in October of 2004. I couldn't be happier with my first major purchase. This car has never had a single problem. I am still on my original tires, and the handling is beautiful. I am well into my third year, and this car has never broken down, no mechanical problems whatsoever, and the sound system works as perfect as the first day I got it. My favorite thing about the car is it's looks. People tell me everywhere I go what a beautiful car I have. And guys love looking under the hood! The Vtec engine is apparantly a big hit. I don't know much about cars, so it's reliabilty and easy upkeep have been very important. The 6-Disc CD player and 7 speakers are great. Parallel parking is easier than any car I have ever driven. I would recommend this car to everyone. The only issue I would have is if I had children. It is hard to put a carseat in the back, but it can be done. I have on occassion. Also it is not very roomy in the back. It would be extremely uncomfortable for a man over 6 foot to sit back there for extended periods of time. The trunk space is unbelieveable though. I am suprised in what I can fit in there. I am sad that acura no longer makes this model. I hope my review helps you. I know it's not very car informative, but this car has been great to me.

B+/A-

30K miles and no problems at all. No real complaints, either. I average 27mpg; I got 30 with my '94 Integra. When your biggest complaint after 30K miles is that you wish you were getting 3 more mpg, it's a pretty good car. Oh, yeah- don't even think about putting anyone over 10 years old in the back seat. That's just cruel. It's comfy (in the front, anyway), quick, fun, and reliable as death and taxes. To get a better handling car, you have to spend $40K+. I just can't believe Acura is killing the model.
