2008 Acura TSX
Love mine in red with a rear spolier. Add a large amp in the trunk to complete what was just an average stereo system. Crazy that this car gets 40 MPG on the highway but less than 20 in the city. Wish it had a little more horsepower off of the line.

Feels like driving on rails
The car handles so great. I love cornering on the highways without touching my brakes and whipping off the on ramp w/o hesitation. The acceleration could be beefed up though. After a few months, it's losing that new car edge but it's still so much fun to drive. When I pass people I pretend I'm in a Porsche. I like the sporty look of the fog lights and the regular lights are just bright enough. I'm sure they blind oncoming traffic at night, but they're good on corners and hills. Inside, the TSX is comfy and cosy. So comfy and cosy that I nearly knock myself out every time I try to slide in. Weird, b/c I'm only 5'4". The seats hug on long drives and cushion some of the outright shakes the car tends to suffer over potholes and such. One thing I hate is the Audio console. There's some flimsy, plastic sheet covering it and it causes the worst, unavoidable glare over the screen. This reeks on the highway. I'm spending seconds squinting at the console when I should be watching the road. Which brings me back around to the brakes. They're good. Panic stops are no problem at all for the TSX. Ipod integration. The little knob in the middle is convenient, but I do hate that after I choose a song I have to go all the way back to Aritist then Album then Song just to change the tune. I could use the steering wheel button to skip but sometimes the song title just doesn't show up on the console and I don't have the patience to sit there listening to snippets of every song until I find the one I want. All of those minor details aside, the car is great value for the money. It handles perfectly- powers up when you need it to, though you won't be racing Corvettes any time soon. The ride is comfy if a little tight. It's technologically strange but just plain fun once you get over the small structural difficulties. It's great for young drivers especially b/c it feels so safe and stable on the road and it actually is. The TSX really gives you confidence behind the wheel b/c of that. I would recommend this car for anyone who likes a car that can handle itself.

Fantastic car!
I've owned this car for 6 months now, and have around 7000 miles. It drives great! The steering responds very precisely and intuitively. Acceleration is more than enough! This car is a great pleasure to drive! And of course Great Gas milage (26.3Mpg since I bought it)! Finally, considering the reliability aspect, its a fabulous car for reasonable money! Highly recommend!

I Love This Car!
I've owned both Honda and Acura cars before and have been very pleased with their quality and reliability. I bought the TSX in March of this year and am delighted with it. I traded in a 2000 Pathfinder 4x4 LE with horrible gas mileage. So far the TSX has been getting about 19.5 mpg driving in local traffic. I don't put on a lot of miles and the oil change indicator just signaled me it was time--7 months and over 4000 miles. I was expecting it to go off at 3 months or 3000 miles but it truly is based on your driving habits.Handling of the car is great and even though it is a 4 cylinder engine, I have no problem merging into expressway traffic or passing cars and trucks. When I step on the pedal the car responds. I haven't driven it in winter yet and wish AWD had been an option. I love the navigation. I debated over getting it because I typically go online to get driving directions, but I find I use this so much more than I ever thought I would. l love the ability to put in a reminder memo in the Calendar! I'm pleased with the sound system, XM radio, CD changer, and auxiliary which allows me to plug in my ipod. The sound is great and I love the controls on the steering wheel. I've set up my phone and it makes receiving and making calls much more convenient than rummaging through my purse for the phone--safer too. Voice commands takes some getting used to and I'm still learning them. The interior leather on the seats could have been a little better quality. My old 1997 Acura 2.0 CL had much softer leather. The heated seats and seat backs are really nice on cold mornings before the car warms up inside. I've folded down the back seat to put in large items and was surprised by what I could get in--not as roomy as the SUV I traded in, but better than just a small pass through from the trunk. The car?s not particularly sporty but that's not why I bought it. The car is very reliable, comfortable, handles well, and is fun to drive. I think Acura packs a lot of luxury into the car for the price and I would most definitely recommend this car to anyone.

Comfortable, reliable, and luxurious
I test drove an accord, and a maxima before deciding on the TSX. Best decision ever! I have had this car since Nov. of 07 and since then have put over 12,000 miles on it. It's luxurious because it has all the features you would expect on a $40,000 car. Reliable, I haven't a problem yet and I am averaging 27 miles to the gallon. I travel a lot and am always in the car, this has to be one of the most comfortable seats I have sat in for a duration of 6 hours. I have had my oil changed at two different dealerships and both have been amazing with impeccable service. I would recommend an Acura TSX to anyone interested in a new/used car! I even talked my mother into buying a new Acura RDX!
