2009 Acura TSX consumer reviews

I am driving the TSX around 80 miles a day for work and I'm getting an average of 32 miles per gallon. The car drives sporty like my previous A4, and the interior is really sharp. The interior features are great, the stereo is crystal clear with the ipod dock. I've had the car for a few months and I am very happy with my purchase. I traded in an '07 Lexus GS350 and have really benefited from my decision.

I've owned the '09 TSX tech pkg for about 6 months now, and am delighted. The interior is beautiful - if hightech/spaceship is your thing. We drove the C300, IS250, 328i, A4, and 300C. Forget the fact that isn't a V6 - all the others had V6's (or V8 in the 300C's case), but the TSX engine is superior. Incredibly smooth and the large displacement (for a 4cyl) gives it a hint of a throaty burble like the V8 in the 300C when taking off from stops. Anyone who comes into our car is very impressed with the interior and exterior. Just perfect. And I love the fuel economy - excellent for a lux/performance car.

Its the perfect car its affordable and its a luxury sports car cant ask more then that on a 30 something thousand dollars car.

After eyeing a TL in 2008, I decided to wait until new 2009 body style was debuted. Test drove several Benz, 2 BMW 328i, a Honda Accord, Toyota 4runner and was still interested in a TL. I went by the dealership one day while running errands in a tshirt, jogging pants and a hat - wanted to take a peak at the new TSX. I loved the body style, the fact that it was same size as the 2008 TL and a good competitive price. About a month later, convinced my husband to go look and we needed up buying the silver with taupe interior home, went for the tech package which i really enjoy. I've had the car for 1 month now and love it - get so many compliments on it every where i go. A lot of people say it looks like a BMW and I like the fact that no everyone in the world has an acura. It allows you to stand out a bit. Great trunk space, ride, music. ONly complaint is the bluetooth phone has a lot of background sound, not clear when you are talking to someone.

I have had my Acura TSX for about 1 month. I really love this car. The look of this car is aggressive, but classy at the same time the interior of the TSX coveys quality and Luxury. It's well put together. The NAV system is easy to use, and the ELS sound system is unbelievable until heard; truly remarkable. There have been many reviews that the handling is not up to par with most in this class, and I have to disagree. Unless you are planning to take this car onto a race track, the steering is well balanced for a car of this size and I find it very responsive. This car also has plenty of power. When I tell my friends that it is a 4 CYL, they don't believe me, because it feels so much like a 6 CYL car. Overall compared to other cars in this class, this car offers more features for a price that just cannot compare. If you are looking for a small sporty and luxurious feeling car; this is the car for you. P.S- The TECH PKG is a must it is worth the $3000.

I owned a 2004 and 2006 TSX. I almost bought a Lexus IS 250, but this car puts it to shame. The new TSX is improved in every way. Start with it's aggressive stance and good looks outside. People are telling me "wow that car looks hot"! The original TSX was nice but not refined and very plain looking. This new baby is the opposite. Its wide, longer and lower and it looks like a real sports sedan. The seats are simply the best I have ever encountered. Supportive, handsome and comfy. The engine is smooth as a V6 but gives me the necessary 25-28 mpg I need all of the time. The technology package adds to the refinement of this beauty. Play a DVD - music disk and the game is nearly over. This is an entry level car? Whow, the sound system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer and tweeters is the very best I have heard-realistic and accurate! The Navigation system with real-time traffic and weather are the best. Add to that a "perfect" safety" score 5 stars for all tests and this is some machine! Buy it, enjoy it and it rewards. The 2009 TSX auto-sport with paddle shifting is my best car ever - and I have owned many! December -2008

Have had the car for three months and nothing but problems, including having to replace steering column (due to loud rubbing noise); metal rattle from engine that no one can fix; loud thumping noise when you turn the AC off (coming from vents) and nothing but rattles throughout the cabin. Don't buy this car.

like the sporty feel and acceleration despite a 4 cyl. good handling. decent features. not too happy with the sat nav and blue tooth (much friendlier in Toyota / Lexus cars).

Good balance of performance, luxurt and price. Great seats, more than adequate performance. Center console is a bit busy, but fit and finish are very well done. So far pretty impressed.

I have owned this vehicle since July. It has a great design and lists many desirable options. It is one of the nicest cars I have ever owned. I took it for a long distance drive the first week that I bought it. It got me there and back without any problems. It is comfortable to drive on the open road. The performance is more than enough for accelerating onto parkways or passing at high speeds without flooring it. The good gas mileage is something that I need. Even though the ride is quiet you will feel the bumps on rough roads. The features that were offered with this car makes it quite a deal. No dealer offers standard options like Acura. You will have to pay for them everywhere else.
