Understated but powerful little machine

I LOVE this car. I was originally going to get an S3 but due to some timeline constraints, just went with the closest A model to my home that fit my desired specs. I have ZERO regrets! This thing is almost as fast as the S, looks and feels great, and handles like a dream. Audi makes some very impressive machines and this little guy is no exception. I've gotten so many compliments and when people drive my car, they squee in delight! The tiptronic and the sport mode really give you the oomph you need to get ahead and around other cars. The sunroof is HUGE! What a great little car!

Overall most exciting car purchase

It’s a little smaller but packs the same 2.0 Turbo awd Quattro which makes it of so fun to drive while stable. Love the car.

I love this car

Perfect marriage of comfy luxury sedan and zippy go kart! I had an A4 before and decided I needed to go down in size and this thing is SUCH an upgrade even though it is technically one year older than my previous car. I love the pop up display and the blind spot sensors are SO helpful. The back up camera actually senses obstructions that you can't see--what a great piece of tech! I'm just so impressed with this car.

Reliability issues and expensive to fix.

Have had car 3 years. Fun to drive. Comfortable in front seat, back cramped. Non reliable at all- replaced battery, had an issue early on had to leave at dealer for 2 days, fixed. Recently had to have water pump replaced. Drove car a week and now check engine light is on so back to dealer. No one else wants to work on so always to dealer $$$$.

Best German Car That I've Owned

I've had many other European cars including Mercedes, BMW, and SAAB and the Audi A3 has been the most reliable and funnest to drive. The Audi A3 handles great and has been proven itself to be trustworthy to drive anywhere. Between my wife and I we have driven over 80k miles in the last two years without any breakdowns or repairs. The turbo allows for quick, quiet acceleration while keeping gas mileage high. I have been averaging 35 mpg with a mix of hwy and city driving.

I should have bought a Used Car before !!

With the exception of the back seat which really has no leg room, the car is super. It actually has more pep than my TTs, is very comfortable, and looks great. It does not have an electronic garage door opener which I would have expected to be standard on a Prestige model, but it really has everything else that I wanted, including all- wheel drive, all-weather tires, a convertible top, very low miles, and it's red with chocolate interior (all of the other red cars had black interiors, a no-no for Arizona), so I'm thrilled. I miss my TT, especially the first one which was stick shift, but it's much easier for this older body to get into to A3!

Best convertible with ample trunk space!

Love the body style, trunk space with lay-flat back seats, and the super fast convertible top that I can put up or down 20mph or less. The sound system was clear even while driving on the highway with the top down. Friends could fit in the back two seats comfortably. Plus, it had all the luxury you'd expect from an Audi!

FUN Car for Right Price

Best buy I found in a low-milage, luxury performance car at reasonable price. $20k for 17,000 miles -- and its turbo- diesel gets great milage with out sacrificing top performance.

Very reliable car so far

It?s been a great car so far , never had a problem with the engine or transmission . Drives smooth , luxurious for its price tag. Worth the money. The only downside is that when rolling down the windows even at 40 mph, the wind slams you right in the face constantly . But overall it?s a nice and quick car
