I needed a better "road car" The A6 delivered with a quiet, solid ride that is easy to handle and has enough power to "get out of the way".

I am very happy with the V6 TDI motor. It has lots of torque, and drives great in the city with all of the stop lights. I thought this would be more of a highway car, but it does everything very well. The only downside of the diesel in Minnesota is that it takes a long time to warm up in the morning.

I drove everything in this segment, like most others will when cross-shopping a vehicle in this range. There is simply no comparison- the C7 A6 offers the best blend of handsome design, performance, comfort, space, and fuel efficiency. The TDI motor combined with the 8spd transmission is a fantastic combination, and offers a mode for all driving styles. I have set the Individual settings for steering and suspension to Dynamic, with the others being left on automatic, and find that the MMI system takes care of everything perfectly. The Audi interiors are class-leading, and the A6 is no exception. Perfect fit and finish. Even panel gaps everywhere. Premium, soft touch materials on pretty much every surface. I especially like the natural matte wood inserts- they look so much more upscale than the plastic-looking and feeling 'premium wood trim' in my old 5-series. The heated and cooled front seats offer so much adjustment that anyone can get a perfect fit. The Germans do the seat heaters right- they heat up fast, and go right up to mid-back level. Combined with the heated steering wheel, it's not a bad place to spend the cold winter months. With good winter tires, snow is a non-issue. Go where you want, when you want. Performance is much better than what you'd expect in a 4200 pound sedan. The TDI doesn't sound exciting, but it certainly gets the job done. All while getting spectacular fuel mileage. 900-950kms on a 75l tank, with the range being closer to 1100kms during uninterrupted highway driving. All while being capable of sprinting from 0-60mph in about 5.5 seconds. The full LED array headlights are pretty good, but not quite as powerful or intense as the newest offerings from MB. If I have to nitpick, the Bose audio is a bit of a letdown in a vehicle with a price tag this high. While the sound is fairly well balanced, there isn't much power, and the bass is sadly lacking. Easy to remedy with many third-party options, but shouldn't be required in a vehicle like this. Mine has the rear windor power shade, and there are some vibrations coming from it- there isn't enough sound deadening, or sealant material, and it sounds like plastic parts are rattling against other plastic parts. Overall, an amazing vehicle, and one I would happily purchase again.

I love this car, will never see myself able to get rid of it. Brodie Scott was my salesman really impressing individual. He sold me on Audi altogether. I will definitely be Brodie for life!

A couple of years ago, I purchased a 2014 Audi A6. I love it. The exterior styling is sublime. The sleek curves and cat-like headlamps really add to the design. As for the interior, the leather seats are plush, and have great support. The dash is made of genuine wood and chrome, and looks very futuristic. However, the infotainment statement is a bit confusing at first, but starts making sense with time. Overall, a great car. Definitely recommend purchasing one if you're in the market.

Love it! Performance is unbelievable...like a xxxxx rocket ship on acceleration and handling. Love long distance driving---I travel 45K miles/year. The diesel is very economical.

OK, fair disclosure: I have an Audi fetish. Ever since I bought my first one (2004 A4 2.0), I just can't get enough of them (I've also owned a 2009 A3 3.2 and a 2008 A6 3.2). I love the quality, the engineering, the drivability and the subtlety. So please take that into account when reading this review. I am in love with my "new" 2014 A6. It's the Prestige, and it has all the bells and whistles one expects from a top trim line Audi. The craftsmanship is phenomenal, from the exterior to the interior, even the oh-so satisfying "thunk" when closing the doors. I have a hard time finding fault in the manufacture of this vehicle. I was concerned moving from the 3.2 naturally aspirated V6 to the 3.0T supercharged engine, but after a week of driving I am glad I made the switch. The engine and the 8-speed Tiptronic transmission are silky smooth and provide stupendous acceleration throughout the power band. When I step on the pedal, this car goes. And it stops really well, too, thanks to the ventilated disc brakes all around. And don't even get me started on the Quattro all-wheel drive system: I have yet to drive a car with such an amazing, intuitive and effortless AWD system. One of the main things that brought me to Audi keeps me coming back, especially for the Torsen differential. A nice touch is the rear bias (60:40). But you'll never break this car loose, and trust me I've tried. This car will go where you point it. Some might prefer a vehicle with a little wiggle to it, but I love driving a car that is firmly planted and sticking to the road. There is the expected Audi understeer (which is a little overblown in my book), but once you know how to handle the car it's not an issue. Since I've only had the car for a week, it would not be fair for me to talk about reliability. I know that some folks see these German-engineered wonders as unreliable. I will tell you that from my previous experience (see above), I have never had any major issues with my Audis. It doesn't hurt that I have a local, independent mechanic (shout-out to Wolfe's VW in West Hanover Township) that I implicitly trust to take care of my babies, and they are far more affordable than the local Audi dealership. In all honesty, I expect this car to be fairly reliable. The interior room on this car is exceptional, especially in the front. The rear might be a little smaller than other mid-sized sedans, but there is come compromising expected for style. The trunk is also a little smallish, but that's what roof racks are for! Overall, the interior is roomy and sumptuous. The seats are comfortable (it has the ventilated front seats: score!) both front and back, although the rear seats sit a little low. Buttons and dials have a satisfying resistance and click, and although the MMI screen might be a little outdated, it serves its purpose. Some might find the MMI system complex and confusing, but having used the system for the last 3+ years, I find it to be instinctual and simple to use. One incredible strong suit: the gauges. Man, Audi makes some beautiful gauges. With the full-color display wedged between the tach and the speedo, I am in love with the gauge package on this car. It might be one of the most beautiful designs I've ever seen. The Bose 14-speaker sound system is amazing. Everything taken into account, the interior is a place I want to spend a lot of time. So my love affair with Audi continues. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a luxurious, sporty, comfortable, stylish and dependable AWD beauty. Four rings for life!

This car is what I?ve always wanted. It meets all of my needs nd drives very week. I will continue shops with Audi for the rest of my life.
