2011 Audi Q5 consumer reviews

It is a great vechicle to drive... but it needs oil every 3 weeks. I am surprised to see great reviews here. It is a known issue just google Audi oil problem. Audi reluctantly acknowledge the issue, but to fix the issue requires rebuilding the engine. It had other problems over the years: squicking breaks, many recalls, etc. I would not recommend this car because of the oil and reliability issues.

Had my 2011 Q5 for 4 years with no problems until two weeks ago. I was driving about 50 mph on the highway when my parking brake malfunction light came on my dashboard. Moments later my car came to a complete stop and I was unable to move causing a 3 car pile up. Audi had their enginneers look at my car and they decided they are not at fault as another car hit me.

It is a nice car. I will shortly buy one, but not this one. It?s interior and exterior design is by far superior ro Amrican SUVs.

Audi has the edge when compared to other vehicles in this class, the A4 platform is responsive and well balanced and the engine performance and ride quality are well matched. It provides a sense of up-market elegance and style when driving and is smooth and responsive to driver inputs. The steering can be a bit numb as is with most Audi's, but with drive select, this can be tuned out to the drivers preferences. Its stellar in the winter months, and can tackle snow and inclement weather with ease and confidence. Audi Quattro is one of the best AWD systems on the market. Would recommend this vehicle over most others in the same price/performance range.

It is a perfect cross between car and a truck. We have always appreciated the Audi styling and how it does not change year after year. So far, so good!

Very expensive to maintain and doesn?t get good gas mileage for a 4 cylinder. Constantly needs tune ups and wouldn?t trust on long trips. It?s to small to haul things and any ideal if your looking to fit 5 people in it.

I was a Volkswagen owner prior, to purchasing the Audi Q5. I must say major upgrade. I'm over 6 feet and it's rare to find a vehicle with the space you require and the speed you desire. The Q5 is all that and more. It's sleek , fuel efficient and an overall pleasure to drive. The only knock I have is the moon roof shade design. It's to easy to break. Less than a week after I bought the shade is not working correctly. But that's a small thing that is really costly to fix. This 300 would sure help. Lol! In all seriousness though, I am exceedingly happy with the Audi Q5. Affordable and stylish.

Handles great and fun to drive. Not so great on gas though as a daily driver. Nicely appointed interior functions and very accommodating for hands free driving.

I love my car. It never caused me big problems, service at Audi in Greenwich is great. Comfortable, spacious drive if driver or passenger. The panoramic sunroof is beautiful and makes the car feel bigger.

Engine was rebuilt under warranty due to leaking piston rings. Otherwise vehicle has been completely reliable. Very sturdy and quiet.
