Brutal and Refined all at the same time

by Ralph P. from San Antonio, TX on Sun Feb 19 2017

2017 RS7 Performance -- This car is unbelievably fast when called on, yet around town works really well as a daily driver. Love the rifle-shots on the upshifts in Dynamic Mode, as well as the optional Bang and Olufsen stereo. It's a hatchback, too, so you can fit a decent amount of luggage in the back as well. As always, Audi's interior fit and finish is the best of any car I've owned (this is my first Audi), and the Google maps interface is spectacular. Had a great purchasing experience at Audi South Austin in Austin, TX, both with sales and service. Have about 7500 miles on the car now, and everything still feels like new. If you have the money, then the RS7 is a car that truly does it all.

Fastest Car I've Ever Been In

by esckay from San Diego on Mon Nov 20 2017

This was my dream car. Best looking car and best driving car that you can put a car seat in. It will beat almost any car off the line and do it while looking good and surrounded in the lap of luxury.

Our Take on the 2017 Audi RS 7

The verdict:

The price tag is steep, but the RS 7 has the performance, style and luxury to match.

Versus the competition:

As is often the case, this Audi goes toe-to-toe with its German luxury competitors — at a more affordable price than some of them.

I'll admit I pre-judged the 2017 Audi RS 7 when I looked at its price tag. The highest-performance version of Audi's stylish A7, it starts at $111,650 — a lot of scratch. Things escalated quickly from there in my test vehicle, which was an RS 7 Performance, a new trim level for 2017.

The RS 7 Performance adds more horsepower, suspension upgrades and larger wheels ... for a cool $130,450, including destination charge. Add a few more safety options and a black Alcantara headliner, and the final sticker was $136,975.

This puts the RS 7 in rarified air competing against other high-performance, four-door luxury vehicles like the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, Porsche Panamera and Mercedes-AMG CLS63... Read More
