Great design and performance
Purchased the car as a CPO 2 years ago, my first non-manual transmission car in over 40 years. All things being equal, I still prefer manual transmission, though the paddle shift DSG in this car is really great. Overall the car is a great design with very good performance.
Can't go wrong!
I've owned and driven all kinds of cars, mainly sports cars and as far as im concerned the S3 has them all beat. The handling is extremely responsive as well as the turbo motor under the hood. I own a 2016 and just hit 71000 miles, beyond Audi Scheduled maintenance the ONLY visit to the service dept was for a faulty tire pressure sensor which only happened because i was driving the car extremely hard when it failed. I drove the s4 and s5 and neither of them come close if you want an engaging drive. The shifts are instant where every other s model Audi lags behind with non dual clutch automatics. Stop thinking about it and just buy it. You wont be disappointed.
EXACT car I was looking for!!
Perfect. Every where else that had this car wasn't able to get me approved but I got lucky with Diamond Motors! Even with bad credit they made it happen for me.
Luxury, Comfort and Speed
This car combines every thing I could ever want in a car. It is fast and exciting to drive, with the 292hp, turbo, sport mode, and boost gauge. It is a comfortable car with it’s comfortable seats, comfort drive select, and lumbar. Finally it’s luxurious, with B&O sound system, sunroof and Audi Technology. This all makes for an amazing car that’s near perfect, by far the best car I’ve ever owned. Will definitely own another Audi in the future.
A ridiculous car!
This car is incredible fast and responsive to drive. And Audi has packaged this so well, it's hard to beat! The competition just doesn't measure up! If you are looking for fast, and luxurious, look no further.
I bought a used 2016 S3 that had 27,000 miles in April of 2019. So far, the car has been extremely reliable, and a blast to drive. It can hold its own against most other cars out there in terms of performance, while returning decent gas mileage. My only complaint is that the Audi engineers programmed regular drive mode to seek the highest possible gear as quickly as possible, presumably to give good fuel economy. This routinely ends up lugging the engine. Sport mode on the transmission is programmed such that in second gear you reach 6-7,000 RPM before shifting up to 3rd. This can be annoying as xxxx. I have read on the various Audi forums that aftermarket DSG tunes can fix these complaints. Yes, the back seat is tight, especially for adults. Yes, the trunk is small, but I knew that going in, and was willing to make those concessions to get a small rocket of a performance sedan.
Great performance with harsh ride
This car has awesome acceleration and handling. The exterior and interior design is classy. The ride is a bit harsh even in comfort mode. That's OK with me, somewhat expected for a tight handling car, but others who ride in it think it's too bumpy. Even the base stereo sounds great.
Have the upgrade suspension, noisy on large bumps
A lux pocket rocket! Eye catching, people notice it! Suspension noisy on bumps! Quiet on smooth roads! AWD for all weather conditions! Right size for me!
Great handling, amazing acceleration, quality materials, and stellar design. Great car for commuting or road trips. Open up the moonroof / sunroof and find a scenic winding road.
Wow... Impressive power and comfort
Impressed with engineering and transmission. Very impressive for a 4 Cyclinder. It’s a 4.4 sec car for 0-60. Seats are very comfortable and rear seats as well. Good enough space for a 6FT tall person
