Fun Fun Fun

by 2nd Audi from Tampa, FL on Tue Sep 22 2009

Audi is understated so the S6 was a little quiet but an aftermarket Miltek exhaust really brought out the V10 growl making the car almost perfect. The LEDs are stunning and get constant stares. Fun fast and comfortable. Owned a A6 4.2 for 8 years and was amazed at the improvements, especially the IPod integration. Car is amazingly fun.

It?s why you pay for great cars

by JPA from Pa on Thu Oct 18 2018

I purchased this car when it was 8 years old. As with any mid 2000?s German sports sedan there will be small fixes. But this car changed how people close to me view what a driving experience is. While fast, this car isn?t todays 0-60 phenomenons. Car was design to go 115 mph on the autobahn for days without flexing. It?s fun, stylish, looks modern 10 years later, and that sound. Lamborghini derived V-10, sound is toned down for modesty but when you hammer it down everyone will know this isn?t some boring person?s car. I actually screwd myself, Wife now won?t settle for mom cars and suvs going forward.

Great

by Jeorge from Boston, Mass on Wed Mar 11 2009

I have owned that Audi for a month, its great till now, economicly, its great, i traded the M5 for it, as for performance, the S6 is better, aswell as for the handeling. It has a great exterior desgin, great rims, i love hearing the roar of the engine, it just egnits me wanting for more and more power. The S6, is a great powerful, famely, sprt, luxerios vehicle that I would recomend for any person who an offord it.

Our Take on the 2008 Audi S6

Editor's note: This review was written in February 2007 about the 2007 Audi S6. Little of substance has changed with this year's model. To see what details are different this year, check out a side-by-side comparison of the two model years.

It's not hard to write a review of the new Audi S6 sports sedan. I mean, how hard can it be for an automotive journalist to enjoy a luxury sedan with a Lamborghini-sourced, 435-horsepower V-10 engine under its hood? Not very.

My week with the S6 flew by as quickly as the car passed semis on the highway — meaning really, really fast. I could say it was fantastic and end the entire review here, but then I wouldn't get to keep my job.
