Simply the best car all around

by MikeS6 from Boston, MA on Mon Feb 05 2018

The S6 is just a fierce combination of stealthy performance, elegance, and practicality. Sadly the age of the Dual Clutch Twin turbo V8's begin a departure from Audi's S cars. Making this car a rare treat.

Wonderful driving experience

by Jack from La Jolla on Sat Sep 28 2019

This car is so much fun to drive. It corners well, stops and accelerates intuitively. I used to own an E55 which was also fun but the S6 is amazing.

Amazing car

by Audiperformanceauditor on Thu Oct 26 2017

I don't think, I know this car is legitimately one of the best 4 door saloons money can buy. Classy not flashy!

Most enjoyable car I’ve ever owned.

by MN Car Guy from Eden Prairie, MN on Thu May 07 2020

My S6 might be the most enjoyable car that I have ever owned. I’ve been Ver fortunate In life, fortunate enough to own and/or drive many nice, high end vehicles. Ferrari, Lambo’s, Lotus, Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Porsche, Land Rover, etc. this by far is my favorite. The car is very comfortable but it doesn’t stop with there. They have taken a very comfortable and easy to drive car and made it into a true sleeper. This car is a rocket, it’s actually almost too fast if that’s possible. Yes, it’s not flashy like a Testa Rosa. It’s not as recognizable as a 911 turbo and not quite as refined as an S600 or a V12 Vanden Plas, but wow, it will seriously blow your socks off. I never imagined that a mid sized 4 door sedan would be so much fun to drive. I can fit the kids, car seats included, the golf clubs, wife and dog and I still believe it 0-60 in under 4 sec. comfort, ridiculous power, all wheel drive and room, what’s not to love.

A true wolf in sheeps clothing

by JaxMike from Jacksonville, FL on Thu Mar 01 2018

An all-wheel drive luxury cruiser with sufficient grunt under the hood to effortlessly merge into traffic without angst. Conservative styling with twin turbo V8 make this Audi a true sleeper.

Fastest and most fun car I have ever owned.

by Pickle Foot from Hollis, NH on Tue Mar 10 2020

Huge trunk, great back seat legroom, audio system is fantastic, great in the snow and funnest car I've driven. Fuel economy is actually better than I expected, getting near 30mpg on the highway.

Our Take on the 2016 Audi S6

Fast and fun, the 2016 Audi S6 takes a plain-Jane luxury commuter and transforms it into a highly satisfying sport sedan.

For Audi, turning an ordinary, smooth and creamy vanilla milkshake — the Audi A6 — into the tasty mocha-java-chip Frappuccino S6 is a relatively straightforward affair: Use the same strong, stiff base for both, but swap out the A6’s healthy four-cylinder powertrain for a highly caffeinated, twin-turbocharged V-8. Also, widen the track for a much more planted feel, and sprinkle on some visual flair in the form of big wheels, special body panels and a lowered, menacing look. The result is a sport sedan that’s far tastier than the mundane base from which it springs.
