A very well-rounded budget sports car

The BMW 128i is an amazing sports car that is fun to drive and more than reliable on the road. This car handles very well and feels very balanced. The interior is very conservative but this is okay because most of the time you are enjoying the way it drives, especially if you have the manual transmission.

The 128: an average BMW

The 128 is not large but it has all the comfort features. 128s are priced higher than they deserve. The one I drove was beautiful inside and out, but when I nailed the accelerator, I could have gone for coffee waiting for it to hit 60. It had a regular 6-speed automatic, and I suspect the manual shift would be more satisfying. I bought a 1351.

Excellent car with features

As with all reviews, the performance on this convertible is spot on. The acceleration and driving is excellent. This did not come with the upgraded seats so it's not as comfortable as I would have liked. The look is great and the interior does have some rattling, but that was a nonissue once you press on that pedal!

One of the most reliable cars I've owned

Great sporty and luxury combination without breaking your pocket. Very comfortable ride for being a two door convertible. The first convertible I've had that you can still use the trunk with top down.

This was my dream car and I enjoyed it all these years. The power and speed are amazing as well as its performance on the road and stability. The two front seats are very comfortable and spacious.

Excellent Value

Bought the car as a CPO with 30,000 miles and have owned now for the past 3 years. Amazing handling and sufficient amount of power. Have had no problems. Only had to change the oil and battery. Harmon kardon sound system is a must. Amazing sound.

Ultimate driving machine

Great little convertible. Handles great along with the 6 cyl. it does lack the power of the 135, but got it for the open top. Had the 335i and was great in power. The open tops trade off for the power is worth it. The 6 still has plenty of oomph.
