Best bang for your buck

The 230i is perfectly balance and it feels like a very sturdy machine that is lots of fun to drive. In order to experience the best sport feel and fun, you either need to put it in sport mode or turn off all traction including stability control. Steering gets heavier and of course acceleration becomes more responsive. For a $40k car especially bmw there is nothing better. Actually I raced my friends 2011 335xi with a true cold air intake and the performance was almost identical. From 0-100 mph he only pulled half a car length and he has a auto trans and I have manual. Awesome comfortable car with very compact size and performance is way more than I expected, maybe because it's very light a little over 3300 curb weight

So far,as it is still new to me its great.Only thing negative it is a very technical car and you need to spend a lot of time with your head in the owners manual.

By far the best car to drive and own, all maintenance for the first three years are covered by BMW, Oil, check-ups and regular service.

So much fun to drive, fast

The fuel economy was surprisingly good for being so fast. It has 4 driving modes that make it perform like a luxury car or a sports car whatever you feel like for the day, better fuel economy when in regular mode

Best car I have ever had, Great for the first 5 years but started to get very expensive to keep on the road. you can pay to have it fixed or you can get a new one ever 5 to 7 years.

228I w track m suspension

All should be same except for greater power in 230i
In a nutshell, everything in this car is superb for me except M SUSPENSION! Jiggly and loads of Road noise/vibrations on ALL BUT THE MOST PERFECT TARMAC. A track car. If you want everyday driving , try BASE SUSPENSION!

It's a great little sports car. Has a lot of power -- 0 to 60. Fun to drive.
Great residual value and has a lot of options that are built in.
