Most Enjoyable car I've Owned

by R. Roldan from Manassas, VA on Mon Aug 21 2006

This BMW was SO Great, I had to buy another one. It was definitely the best car I have ever owned and I have owned several different kinds of performance cars previously. This car has been pampered--parked in the garage, not driven in snow and no door dings. It looks like a brand new car. Must see to appreciate.

Most Reliable Car I've Owned

by The Car Guy from Chicago, IL on Mon Apr 07 2008

I have had this car for three years now and have never come across any problems whatsoever other than normal changes like replacing window wipers. I get great gas mileage and having the console that tells you what your gas consumption is, levels of fluids, when oil and other parts need to be changed helps alot! This car is a sporty head turner with all the bells and whistles. luxury at its finest!

Most fun car under $4k

by JayATL from ATL on Wed Aug 16 2017

For being a convertible this thing is very room for the 2 passengers in the front. Great leg room and head room. Plenty of arm rest space and seats are super comfy. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a cheap fun car

Completely fun and reliable

by Carfan4life from Newport Beach, CA on Fri Jan 19 2018

It’s been the best daily driver I could have asked for. Nothing else in the price range has as much character to drive around. People tell me often that I have a cool car and it’s practical since I can put the top down and load it up with oversized cargo on the rare occasion.

Our Take on the 1998 BMW 323

BMW should begin its entry-level cars with the new 328i sedan. That would mean scrapping its 323-series models, but the sacrifice would be worth it. Those lower 3-Series BMW cars have Volkswagen appeal -- which is okay, if you want a Volkswagen. But at a BMW price? I don't think so.

The 1999 328i sedan, on the other hand, is what a BMW should be -- a high-performance machine fitted with quality components. Nothing cheap-feeling about it. Nothing compromised. The steering wheel is adjustable. The seats are comfortable. The shift action is smooth, sensuous. It's just a darned pleasant car to drive, which cannot be said about the recently tested 1998 BMW 323is coupe.

Here's the problem: BMW is... Read More
