Best driving handling car I've had a real Classic

This 1999 Classic Sport Convertible is nicely designed. 1999 was the last year these cars were built in Germany that's what makes it a classic. The car drives and handles excellent. Good gas mileage. The only drawback on this vehicle is that they need to be cared for and maintained if not the car will start having issues. Mechanically they are a difficult car to work on and you'll need tools that most other cars don't need. You can pick up a full set of these tools for under $50. If you have a mechanic who knows how to work on BMW's you're a step ahead of the game. Hopefully the mechanic doesnt cost an arm and a leg. If you dont have a BMW budget dont buy the car other than this the car is awesome!!!

Best BMW that I've owned

I have owned this 21 year old car for just over 15 years. It's the best of the 6 BMWs I've owned. It still amazes me with it's great handling, style and overall reliability. The radiator has been the only recurring issue. I have 241,000 on the odo and am looking forward to the next 100K!

Best car I've owned!!

Best first car I've ever owned! Always reliable! People complain of the price to maintain BMW's sometimes. Yes, it is just a little bit more, but I'd rather pay that extra bit to have a vehicle that drives and looks great. Of course, it's not a higher end BMW, but it is a BMW and a great starter BMW to have!

BMW 328 Hardtop

This is the best body style that BMW ever made in my opinion for a coupe. This particular one is the rare hardtop convertible. It can easily be tuned to have a greater horsepower with a few DIY's

Fun, sporty car with classic looks

It was a great car that has a lot of pep and personality. As expected, some maintenance was required but it offers a spirited drive with unmatched looks.

Will Last Forever if Maintained Properly

Had this car for about a year now after selling my Civic. Bought the car with 160k and have put around 20k on the car since. So far have only spent around $200 on maintenance between replacing the radiator and hoses and the coolant expansion tank. Also replaced the water pump while I had the radiator out as preventative maintenance as the cooling systems in these cars are known to go. Haven't had any other major problems. Car is extremely comfortable and has a lot of nicer interior features than my 2007 Honda Civic did and the car is almost 20 years old. They're known to last forever as long as you keep up on normal wear and tear maintenance and make sure the fluids are always filled. Love the car and don't think I'll ever buy anything but a BMW!

Brown M W

Fantastic car, handles and looks like a dream. Mechanical problems can be major and difficult to correct for the average mechanic but my dad is a BMW mechanic and solved everything. When I bought it used it had electrical problems which can be a nightmare. But my dad (BMW mechanic) was able to take care of ,them.

This car hugs you ll

My review should be for a 328i BMW NOT a 528! Sorry about that, somehow hit the wrong model. See my review for this vehicle titled This car hugs you....it really does. I throughly enjoyed this car.
