Definitely the ultimate couple
I have had three BMW 3 series over the years and continue to love their handling and overall performance. Is the interior as comfy as a Lexus? No, but it drives like a BMW, not a Lexus. I have also own an Audi and the BMW is a better driver. The 2010 coupe is especially nice, particularly with the sport package and 18" wheels. Yup, it rides a bit rough, but so does any sport coupe with 18" wheels. But the handling is amazing for the price range.

BMVEEEEE
In Germany the call them B M VEEE. VEEE should be weeeeeee. This car is fun but; get used to the driver side being as close as it looks on that side when changing lanes or turning. If you do not know what I mean, you will if you buy one of these machines. I am still looking to get the great gas mileage. Nice acceleration and nice handling and stopping. My sound system needs to be calibrated but; overall, the vehicle is a good car and worth almost its price.

The coupe I've always wanted
I searched for over a year to find the perfect combination of color, performance, style, options, etc, and found it in the BMW Coupe I purchased. Ideal car for me and my daily commute. And weekend fun.

328xi, awd heaven....
You pay for what you get, and every cent spent was worth it. Car handles great, and provides the drive with almost to secure a feel from it's bewildering traction. Gas mileage is 19 city, which hurts a bit, but 26 highway, which no complaint can be made. Went with the 328 instead of the 335 because after test driving them both, the 335 almost was overkill, though if a diesel AWD 335 was available I would have swapped it up in a second. Car feels like a BMW, well built, solid, and has the gadgets you can personalize to your liking. If you've never owned one, you'll never understand why they call them the ultimate driving machine. Not only a solidly built car, but safe, comfortable, and most of all, makes the driver want to drive. Power is adequate, and as with most German built cars, torque is the key. Could use another 20-30 horses, but the balance between reliability, economics, and peformance seems to be perfect.

nice!
Car rides great, accelerates smoothly and powerfully. I use the manual type shifter since I am used to a manual transmission and it works just like a manual except there is no clutch. Seats are comfortable and provide great stability. Only complaints would be the lack of certain things I would expect in a car of this price that are not standard...No bluetooth, no power seats, terrible interior storage which could be an issue, and most importantly the base stereo is just OK at best. Having said all that, I love this car and always look forward to driving it!

great small sporty car
just bought a slightly used 2010 BMW 328i w/ Xdrive, manual transmission. Very happy with the car. Really enjoying the handling and sportyness of the car. It has plenty of engine. Had a 2001 Porsche 911, and this is in that same family of terrific handling and happy engine. It is stunning the difference compared to a Honda Accord or a Nissan Maxima. Disappointments: All my driving is back roads, and getting 16 miles a gallon (Ouch). The interior controls are impenetrable. Honda, Nissan, VW and Porsche all make cars that are easy to operate. Not BMW.

Drive a Real Car Not a Badge
Talk about an over-hyped car. This BMW fails in just about every respect. I used to drive a Honda Accord before I traded it for a BMW 328. I would gladly have kept the Honda had I known how unreliable BMW's really are. I've been to the dealer for a failing PCV valve, bad Oxygen sensor, and a jammed passenger window. Sure the dealer replaces these parts under warranty but the car is in the shop more than on the road! To top things off, my Accord had 275 hp where the BMW has 230hp. Now it's winter and the rear wheel drive is inadiquate for snowy roads. I can barely get out of my driveway let alone drive down the street! Maybe German cars used to be superior in the late 80's and 90's but now they're just below average cars with a fancy badge. Driving machine? more like a "Mechanics Dream"

Nice car
Pros: Great exterior and interior styling, delightful features, safety, looks, Name appeal, ride, fit and finish, engine. Cons: Run-flat tires, base audio system, slightly cramped knee room for driver and rear passenger leg room, Unclear/inconsistent specifications on need for premium or regular fuel (not really a con). BMW IMO should offer the runflats as an option or completely get rid of it. It has no real benefit (how often do you get a flat tire anyway). Infact it is an added cost to the consumer. It cannot be repaired and if you have a flat, that tire or all tires need to be replaced entirely. I think runflats make the car noisy and handle (a bit) poorly. Also note that BMW does NOT offer the runflats on their expensive hyper sports model - the M3. That shows you what BMW themselves think of runflats. It only saves BMW cost to not include a spare wheel, jack and other components. It does not really help the owner other than not having to replace the tire immediately on the side of the road.
