E46 M3 is just what I hoped

I have wanted this car for over 15 years, let's say it did not disappoint. I have only had it a week but it is everything I hoped it would be. If you are thinking about buying a manual coupe E46 M3, do it before they become too expensive again

Nothing this fun to drive is this practical.

With minor modifications, the e46 M3 is just about as fast and fun to drive as a Cayman S or an S2000. That's saying something. But you get a trunk, room or 4 (in a pinch) and reasonable affordability. Also IMO, the e46 M3 has a purposeful yet aggressive look that is timelessly attractive.

My M3

Love this car! It handles like it's on rails. And, there's no question what you paid for once you step on the gas. This thing is a beast. I Can't Describe enough how big the grin will be on your face the first time you put your car in sport mode and launch off? the line like a pro. It has a very stiff suspension. So, it's not great on roads that need work. But, if there's a patch of smooth pavement anywhere near you, it'll be worth the effort to get there. Not the most comfortable car, and service is not cheap. But, overall a great car. Will always keep one in the stable.

Great Performance for price

Recently bought a 2002 Alpine White BMW m3 for 15k and 105k miles and I have to tell you, best car I've owned in a while. Everything feels solid and the car is plenty fast and agile. Great steering response, acceleration, and weight distribution. This car is a track dream car. Fuel economy is not the best but it was expected from a sports car. I usually get 17-18 city and over 25 in highway. Maintance is a little expensive but this is not a civic, its a bwm. Will recommend to anyone.

First M3

Have been the proud owner of this car for two weeks. Was lucky enough to find one with low miles in great condition. All of the glowing reports about this car are underestimates. Aceleration and handling are to dream about. It puts you in touch with the road and driving in ways you never dreamed about. Too much fun!

New to the M3 Brotherhood

Absolutely the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel of a car. Fast and nimble, with the road-grabbing handling that BMW is famous for. I loved my 535i, but this thing is a whole 'nother animal. I refer to it as my little monster, as it is a barely-tamed beast. May not be the best vehicle for large people, as it's pretty low-slung, and the tilt wheel doesn't give you much extra room to get in and out. Performance and styling get an A+. Mine is a 6-sp manual, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Hot M3 Estoril Blue

This car rocks for a High School student with excellent grades and no tickets. The color is perfect for a Liberty Patriot.

Best Car I have ever owned.

I got my 2002 M3 in 2007 and it has been the most wonderful car I ever owned. Fast, comfortable, fun to drive and unbelievable nimble. Screams on the highway and is super sticky in sharp turns. Get a radar/laser detector, you're going to need it.
