Luxurious SUV

This car checked off everything on my list and about 10 others, I couldn't even dream of!! It's stylish body is outshined by its extravagant interior. The ambient lighting is nicer than what was in my Mercedes. #BMWForever

Good car so so reliability little technology

Superbe handling. Feels extremely safe especially in our X version which I’d highly recommend over the S version of the same car. Had to have a couple of fixes (all under warranty) such as lower wishbones. Not a big deal but time consuming as we had to have a few visits and tests drives at the dealer to get it done.

Very good value, responsive, and comfortable.

I leased my 2017 X1 as a retired service loaner. It’s a great value even at its normal MSRP, even better with thousands shaved off. It handles really well, returns high 20s MPG on average, and it’s a pretty comfortable SUV for an entry level. It had a nice amount of optional equipment, and even fully loaded is very competitively priced for its segment. The only reason I’m not leasing another one is because equipment I want like digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, and seat ventilation aren’t available in an X1.

Expensive Maintenance and Repair

I didn't spend enough time getting to know this car prior to purchasing. I had always heard good things about BMWs and when we ran across this one used, we bought it. Very rough riding car. More like a truck. Lots of road noise. Hard to hear radio unless you really turn it up. And I question the quality of their parts. I bought the car with 20,000 miles and by 22,000 I needed new brakes and rotors! I couldn't believe it. Over $900! I traded in a Cadillac with over 75000 miles and it never needed brakes. Not happy! Even an alignment was almost 300 dollars and I also had to put on new tires at 22,000 miles. It had factory tires on it. Car is not as comfortable as I had hoped and is hard to get in and out of driver's door. It does have a lunch hatch area for storage.

A new horse :)

This car is very good for small family. I'm in love with heads on display and music system. I wish i can drive this horse where speed limit is 90 :)

I am obsessed.

I love everything about this vehicle! It has the luxury & the compatibility of everything I wanted. I cannot see myself in any other car.

Great look and acceleration

Just bought a low mileage CPO and really enjoy the roominess, styling and acceleration of this crossover. Not crazy about the stoplight lag in the throttle response but I’m looking forward to better gas mileage on the highway than previous SUVs I’ve owned. Our family have owned BMWs from a classic ‘74 Tii to 3/5 series to a X5 and you dearly for repairs but they’re fun cars to drive and own. We occasional get snow here in Seattle but I don’t confidentially see this X1 plowing through heavy accumulations with these stock Pirelli M/S run flats.

BMW is the best.

Go out and lease or buy a BMW. Very safe car. They look nice. Great prices. And excellent service. BMW are very safe in the winter. All wheel drive. They don’t slide.
