BMW X4M40I

It is most reliable and powerful car I have owned. It looks so sporty and beautiful. It is so comfortable inside, feel liked sitting in first class airplane.

Great do-everything vehicle

by Tim from on Sat Apr 29 2017

The X4 is a very stylish car that has the driving feel of a medium-sized sports sedan and soaks up bumps like an SUV but isn't over-sized like one. It was tough moving on from my BMW 3-Series but I needed a bit more interior space and was tired of the earth shattering drama potholes would provide. The X4 interior is beautiful and comfortable. Exterior is stylish and unique (except for the new Mercedes GLC coupe that is shamefully copying the X6/X4). If you're looking for something sporty with some utility and a lot of style, try the X4 out for a test drive. You'll love it!

Awsome Ride

by Kurt on Wed Jul 26 2017

I did not have the opportunity to get all the pleasure I would have liked to out of what was the nicest vehicle I ever owned. The handling and styling was superb. It was a joy to drive and received many comments on how nice and unique the car was. I retired much sooner than I had expected and no longer need a vehicle in the area. It is too new to import to Mexico so I have no choice but to sell it. I wish that I had another option available to me. I simply wish I did not have to sell it!

Our Take on the 2017 BMW X4

I didn't understand the BMW X4 when I first drove it. It was essentially a less functional and more expensive BMW X3 with a sloped roofline. The M40i, however, adds an extra dash of excitement, with 55 more horsepower than the X4 xDrive35i and BMW M Performance tuning that transform the X4 from a boring and pedestrian six-cylinder into something more akin to a BMW M3 SUV.

For 2017, the 355-hp M40i is the only six-cylinder version of the X4. A four-cylinder xDrive28i is the entry-level offering and there's no longer an xDrive35i. The M40i trim, however, keeps the X4 competitive with the Porsche Macan and Jaguar F-Pace; compare specs of those with the X4 here. Mercedes-Benz is even getting into this... Read More
