Very Nice, With Some Annoyances
I've had this car for over a year now and I am generally impressed....drives great (even in snow), is quite comfortable, has lots of features, decent electronics, gets excellent mileage with and without the battery. Negatives: cheap "leather" interior, door sill is too wide to get out without getting dirt on the back of your leg (even without the options step), backup cross traffic safety is useless unless you are backing into a wall, and the hands-free lift gate is disabled if you get a trailer hitch. All fixable if BMW but some effort into it.
satisfied with everything including dealer I would highly recommend all aspects. A must see And drive As well as incredible fuel mileage Trust me when I tell you you must on this one
Excellent vehicle AND $7500 tax credit!!
This is my second X5, and the X5 45e is a great hybrid vehicle without any of the usual compromises. It has all the amenities of a standard X5, with the added value of the electric drive and $7500 Federal Tax Credits. The vehicle can be plugged in, or even recharges while driving (when that feature is activated). I highly recommend this vehicle for those considering a new SUV or Hybrid.
BMW by name Inferior options for price
What can I say about BMW, I thought about luxury. NOT. for the price point I am disappointed of the interior quality and options included in the vehicle. You would think that even for a base luxury vehicle it would include a leather interior, instead is has a Sensatrac leatherette. It feels like vinyl like that in a cheaper manufactured vehicle. Options are like ordering ala carte. Each item is another up charge. You would think that BMW would include items like park assist. They would not even include a first aid kit, but has a compartment specially built for it. Another disappointment was the factory put in a trailer hitch option, but removed the hands free/foot rear hatch sensors. Why??? One positive is the mileage you get from this car. So far 720 miles and going on a full fuel tank. Unfortunately this may be my one and only BMW. I would suggest a Lexus, which provides better included options without up charging.
The 2021 BMW X5 Hybrid is an exceptional conglomeration of engineering! I have NO regrets with this purchase. Additionally, Aiman Wahba is one of the BEST BMW Client Advisors I have ever had the pleasure working with. He represents the best of the BMW of Sterling Team and is the epitome of quality sales management and exceptional customer service. Aiman truly takes a vested interest in his client's needs and goes the extra mile by attending to and treating the smallest details with the same level of importance as some the more complex ones! He made my recent purchase an absolutely wonderful experience! THANK YOU!
Such a comfortable ride.
Very fun to drive. Great leg room. The seats actually extend for taller people. Intuitive console and very cool hand gesture controls. Great visibility from the entire cabin.
